I know I have not been involved with the discussions and I wont be much at all... but I am monitoring it when I can... I will also come back and look through and make my vote when the time comes... but as for discussion its not going to happen right now... as I said very limited internet and time right now....

Guys, this is why I want to keep the discussions about one topic in its own thread. I think it was Nut who came up with that idea and its a great one. It makes it alot easier for people who are not following the discussion to get caught up quickly on the pertinent information needed to make their vote.

Status on the votes: we have 6 votes by PM and need more. Some people who have voted on the thread have not responded by PM yet. Either way, we need more votes because its a dead heat.

Hey CCFF...just to be clear...I was not at all put off by your PM. I knew it was sent to several of us, but it just hit me that, you know what...I really should care more about this thing than I do. This league deserves an owner who is willing to give more to it than I am...

It was just a realization that I am not at the same level as most of you...and I admire all of you for the effort you are giving to the league. It is truly the best league I've ever seen in terms of the setup, the maintenance, the continuous improvement and dedication of the owners.

I'll always keep an eye on this league because of this...

With King's vote today we have a decision if we count votes in thread in addition to those by PM. Thank you to those who took the time respond yes or no to make my life easier, and so you know exactly what is being proposed. I agree with drop that we need to add votes in the thread at this point.

Next Steps:

1- Find a replacement for Nut.
2- Discuss roster management and player scoring proposals
3- Discuss league matters and vote.

In the interest of time we need to proceed without the replacement if we want to get our proposals done.

Proposals already on the table are my WR/TE flex and TDR's 4 Wide Formation. I think we have discussed those well enough but we dont need to vote on them until all the proposals are discussed.

Roster Management:
-Starting lineup changes: WR/TE flex -CCFF in progress
-Stertling lineup changes: 4 Wide Formation- TDR in progress
-Healthy players on IR---???
-Team Def on IR-Ftrizzy?
-2nd DL position (already voted on)

The next big discussion in the roster management section will surround the addition of starting spots for more IDP players. I will get that ball rolling with a new thread.

There are alot of possible changes to make and I dont want to make a million threads so we can try discussing all IDP and DEF player changes.

Also, does any feel strong enough about putting healthy players on the IR to lead that discussion?

That's cool and all, i just want to be able to cast my vote via whichever way the topic is proposed to me. If we discuss and lay out a topic in a thread, that's how i'm voting. If we start laying out issues and casting votes via PM, that's how i'll respond. But for me, it's just too time consuming to have the topic at hand discussed in a thread, only to have to go cast my vote via PM. One or the other is all i'm asking for here.

Yeah. The proposal up for discussion now is for adding more IDP starters and possibly abolishing the Team DEF position. We would need to add more roster spots too but all that is listed in the thread if you want to follow the link below.

I hate to throw a monkey wrench into the works here, but I figure it's better to do it now than wait until later. I fully intended to review the new proposals last night and get caught up on everything, but I was never able to accomplish that task. Then I log on this morning and saw CCFF's PM with the little slap on the wrist for those not paying attention...and I realized he is right...I've really not been paying attention at all. And, in fact, I've been half-assing it through most of the last 12 months or so (you may recall Forehead and I were questioning our ability to commit to the league a while back).

Well, not much has changed since then. I have more time available to me than I did some months ago when I questioned my commitment to the league, but I lack the desire. And I don't see that changing anytime soon. And that's not good for the league. This league needs owners who care...owners who are willing to dive into these rule changes and make the league the best it can be...to be brutally honest, I don't care enough to invest the time needed to ensure these changes are for the betterment of the league. That's bad.

So I'm going to resign as an owner effective immediately. This way you guys can begin your search now and the new owner would still have time to wheel-and-deal-and-dice-and-slice my team as he/she sees fit.

Sorry, but I figure its better to do it now than prolong it any longer...
