Just sent my vote to Pho.
Just sent my vote to Pho.
Sweet. Hopefully we come out with a clear majority at #1 and #2 so we can just move on.
"In 2012 the Redskins are gonna be the NFC East champions, and that starts right ****ing today.” --- Kyle Shanahan, 1/1/12.
I have received Conn's PM, no one else as of yet. I have to say that of all the things I read, Riggo jumped out at me the most, but I agree with the top 2. Everyone else can PM me and I'll tally up, but we appear to have two frontrunners.
My team defenses sucked this year so it's no real loss on my front. I was considering offering a 3rd round pick during the draft to someone for a better team defense, but if we're going to scrap them, nevermind.
Get your votes in, people. I think its obvious at this point who the top-2 will be, unless those who disagreed just never voiced that here, so it should be an easy vote for Pho to tally up.

He should have mine as well... Sent a few mins ago..
Sweet Go. I think if enough people get their votes in, we should be set on this by later tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Then we can welcome them to the league and divvy up the two teams between them.

Just sent my vote too
pm has been sent to pho
Alright, I think that's 7/10 votes in, including Drops which he didn't PM yet I assume, he just said it in the thread.
Unless the votes are wildly different, we should have a consensus by now. The only thing we'd be waiting for would be who got the most 1st place votes...because our bylaws say that that new owner gets to pick which team he gets. We still doing it that way?

Whoever gets in, we should get a welcome package ready for them. Like a gift basket. TDR's mother's favorite lube is my contribution.

Im in favor of sticking to the rules in most cases and would advocate for changing them in the proper way, not at the 11th hour.
A coin flip just seems more fair not that I'd really expect anyone to embelish their application to get a better team.
Pho, is an emergency vote in order here? Obviously not a big deal but I think it makes us look better.

Votes sent.
Thanks for your hard work Conn.

FTrizzy, updated the docket.
If the guys get in who I think will get in, one of them specifically said he'd rather pick the team that's worse off anyways...assuming the other guy doesn't also prefer the worse team, this might not even be an issue, if we go the old way.
But, I kind of agree that a coin flip is probably more fair in general.

Coin flip it. The vote is for getting into the league, and nothing else really. Once they're in the league, they should be treated as equals.

Twenty-Eight is the Dalai Lama of fantasy football. We can only hope to attain his enlightenment and achieve the honor of being called ExtremeSkins Dynasty League Champion.
I think CCFF's only concern is that a coin flip is not what the bylaws call for.

Alright, Riggo and Hitman took the vote pretty convincingly, and Riggo had the most 1st place votes. I can understand CCFF's point, but a rule change shouldn't be necessary since I think Riggo was the guy who said he wanted the "worse" team, though neither are particularly bad.
