Hey guys, sorry I haven't been around much. I'll be more active, just had to deal with some personal ****. Any more new rules passed? Otherwise, RG3 news is amazing and I may or may not have creamed my pants when I heard the news.

Top 5, eh?
Peyton found a home, and I dont think anyone benefits more from a fantasy standpoint than Eric Decker. He's a better route runner than DT and only had his stock drop cause Tebow coudnt throw to him in stride so his monstrous beginning to last season stopped in its tracks.
I think he'll finish better than DT in fact. Top 20 WR to finish the year, and Im being conservative. You heard it here first.

You're reading my mind, CCFF. I've been saying that I think DT is a sell-high, while Decker is a buy-low-or-neutral. I think he's more talented than Collie, and much healthier.
And I'll admit I've got a bit of a man-crush on Britt if he can get healthy, but yeah, he's my #5.

yeah ok... i think i will hang onto the Manning-Thomas combo.... but I will entertain trade offers for both.....
I'm not saying that the Manning-Thomas combo will be bad, by any means. I'm just saying that relative to what you can trade for them in most dynasty leagues, I see Decker as the better value buy.

Decker is definitely going to be the better value
Hard not to get excited about Peyton...but I wanna see him play a game.
guys I am looking to package 1.7 and perhaps something else for a RB...
I have a few guys available that could go with the pick... maybe even a nice young WR if the right player is involved...
also want to post again, anyone intersted in another dynasty league? crazy salary cap league with 32 teams... tons of trades daily.... let me know...

i've gotten a couple offers for Jstew recently, thought id pass this along for those who may not appreciate his value.
its a DLF dyasnty mock draft done earlier this month where he was taken 26th overall, and ahead of the second pick in the rookie draft which was valued at 38th overall.

Stew is talented as hell, but he's gotta be the poster child for DLF hard ons. Kinda ridiculous the overly heavy value he holds over there.
I mean he went before McFadden, Britt, Marshall, Welker, Harvin, White, and Cruz in that mock.....not sure i'd take him before any of those guys in a dynasty. MAYBE White or Welker based on age....but that's a maybe...and that would be it.
And no, i'm not one of the people who has sent an offer, or inquired about J Stew from CCFF.

Its hard to come up with a value for him. Sure he has a ton of potential, but he's going to be 26 going into this season and he's never been the guy. So he's 5 years older than Richardson and Wilson and 6 years older than Lamar Miller.
Unless he gets traded, he's in a rotation with 3 other RBs and Cam who vultures those goal line TDs.
Plus this mock was before Tolbert signed with the Panthers, so who knows where he would go in drafts now.
Edit: And yes I did inquire about Stewart.

he turns 25 tomorrow, actually, and hes more talented wilson and miller, in addition to being NFL proven, yet not alot of carries. with him catching the ball now as was advertised when drafted, he is the full package and will extend his career even further. Tolbert is listed at FB, goodson isnt trusted by them, and Cam will learn to more ways to score.
looks like im keeping him.
edit: you are right Drop, they do have a hard on for him, but they bring up a good point: what rookie RB this year not name Richardson wont be in a situation similar to JStew? In fact, many wont be as lucky to be going against someone on the decline like DWill.

You're right, math fail on my part.
I'm not knocking the guy, I've been trying to add him to my team in here for the last 2 years. I'm just not sure what a fair value for him would be and its hard to know. And even though DWill is declining, he still has Newton and Tolbert to take carries away. Newton had 14 rushing TDs last year, Williams had 7, and Stewart had 4. I don't think Newton will have 14 again, but Williams and Tolbert could take away some more from Stewart. Especially because Tolbert can catch passes too, like Stewart.
I just don't think he's worth a top 5 pick in the rookie draft. Who knows where guys like Miller, Wilson, and Polk could end up.
I like Stew a lot, don't get me wrong. And i'd make a move for him in practically any league, but it's been my experience that his owners tend to value him just a bit TOO much. And in many instances he's been held on to for a LONG time by the same team who's still patiently waiting on him to flex that stud ability we all know he has.....this makes him a very valuable piece that's too rich for my blood in most cases.
I think it's difficult to say what value guys like Miller, Martin, Wilson etc will have until we see where they each fall. People don't realize there's a pretty decent amount of teams that need a RB. Yes most teams run a RBBC now, but if a stud comes along and proves himself in a favorable spot, anything can happen.
Green Bay could be one of those spots for one of these young guys. Grant and Starks? Someone can take that job and be a stud even though GB doesn't favor the run. What about the Colts? I know they have Carter and Brown...but that could be another spot where the run isn't featured, and a rookie could make the job all their own. The Jets might be attractive but they probably have TOO many young bodies at the position as it is. Pittsburgh probably won't go that route, but they could use a running back if the confidence isn't there in Redman and Dwyer. We all know Cleveland needs a RB....i could see one of these guys not named Richardson being dominant there in time if they don't take him at #4.
So i mean, i'm a big fan of J Stews, i've just found he's always too expensive. And i like some of these RB's in this class quite a bit. However, shoot me a pm about what you'd ideally like in return for Stew and maybe i'll make an offer you can't refuse.![]()
