I'm on the clock for #4 now. Just a sec, I'm looking for the gif of Russell Wilson's wife.

Any other time I take Luck. But with Stafford, Locker, and Flacco I didn't need him. Plus I have holes at RB and WR that are more pressing.

CCFF, when you come around, please update the draft thread with trades and selections.

I absolutely love Blackmon, so when he was within snaring distance I jumped on it.

He was my target all offseason. But going to the Jags scared me off a bit. Figured there wasn't a huge difference between he and some of the other WRs, so I decided to move down. And honestly, I thought you were coming for Luck.

WHEW!!! I went to sleep last night taking luck at 1.2... I woke up with a wild hair telling me to take martin at 2 and push griffin or luck to 5...

I was scrambling when fancy was moving the pick and even made a desperate offer... Riggo got the pick and my plan was coming apart... Then he picked blackmon!! And it all worked out...

I can't imagine being a real GM and taking gambles.. I have been a nervous wreck since my pick at 730 this morning...

I was planning on Blackmon at 1.4 all offseason, then the last 2 days I was set on Martin. Thanks for ruining it for me!

Wow, Luck falling to five could end up being a huge value.

Arguably (and in my personal opinion), the best WR in this class at #7? Yes please! Would have liked the chance to grab Martin, or WIlson....but I couldn't justify trading out of the spot and settling for something less later on....especially when this is my WR1 in this class. I have Blackmon ranked slightly below him, so i'm thrilled to have Floyd aboard!

Not sure there is a big difference between Blackmon, Floyd, or Wright. So I'm happy with Wright. The Titans offense has potential to be explosive. Plus, Britt hasn't stayed healthy the last 2 seasons, so there's that too.

Aside from being the best WR in the class by a slight margin imo, Floyd's situation is the best by quite a bit. Having Fitzgerald on the other side of him should open him up, ala Titus Young with Calvin. QB isn't in any worse shape than Tennessee, and Floyd has a stud WR to teach him the ropes.

Arizona is a young team trending upwards. Jacksonville is an absolute mess, but maybe that changes with Blackmon's arrival. Tennessee is nice for Wright because of Kenny Britt. But Britt's gotta be on the field, and he doesn't have the pedigree of Fitzgerald. And honestly, I think Kendall Wright is a distant 3rd behind Floyd/Blackmon. But i can't disagree with the pick, probably who i would have went with as well. Nice job Fancy.

My whole draft strategy was shaken up this morning lol.

I don't think Wright is that far off from Blackmon or Floyd. I think Floyd is in the best situation because like you said he has Fitz on the other side to take away some attention. Blackmon probably has the most talent, but the Jags are a mess. Now they could end up with the top pick and take Barkley or something. But I just don't know about them.

And with Wright, he goes to a team that has a young QB in Locker, an established running game with CJ, a team with a #1 WR already, and a solid TE. So there isn't the pressure on him to preform right away, which could help him. And I like the fact that Britt hasn't been healthy so he could get a chance to be their #1 sooner rather than later.

I think Jacksonville was an absolute mess also, under Del Rio. New owner, new coach, new everything is what they needed. Dont forget MJD led the league in rushing last year with that pathetic offense, so they are at least a one-dimensional offense currently (i.e. not 0). Gabbert just needs to look significantly better than he did last year. He can't do much worse, and there's one less excuse for him now.

I like Wright - alot. With Locker in place they really have pieces on offense. Just keep Kenny Britt healthy and out of trouble.

I just don't know what Arizona is doing at QB though. Kolb? Skelton? Lindley? They don't have the answer, and their QB situation is going to be a jumbled mess until they get the answer. While Fitz is great enough to thrive with anyone taking snaps, I don't think Floyd will. Arizona has the same issue as the Skins recently - they wont be bad enough to completely crash and burn to get a top QB talent.
