But even if Britt gets in trouble. I think it helps Wright even more. They have guys like Nate Washington and Damian Williams who can help too. Throw in Cook and CJ and they have a young and explosive offense. I think situation was, Wright and Floyd are in better spots. BLackmon has the talent, but has more pressure since he will be their guy from Day 1. Wright and Floyd can ease into that role and Wright probably has the quicker path to being a #1 quicker than Floyd.

Yeah, whoever compared Locker in TEN to the bargain-bin-QB-jumble in ARI is delusional. Nice picks so far gents.

Pho, I like your Griffin pick. Love it, actually. And that's setting aside the homer in me. But picking a QB in the top-3 twice in three years has gotta hurt for a team that's trying to claw its way out of irrelevance and back into competition. RG3 is no Clausen obviously, and I don't think this pick will bust at all. It just sucks to have to keep investing in a position where you have Freeman and Schaub, and drafted Clausen in the top-3 two years ago. RG3 needs to be a perennial top-5 fantasy QB to really make up for it.

Trizzy, your PM's are full bro. But I'll answer you here--I'm looking into it, I'll update you if there's any development on that topic.

Conn, I don't disagree, but the Clausen thing is pretty much a wash at this point, a sunk cost in Economic terms. I can only focus on my roster as currently built, and like I said, having a QB that can get me some RB stats was worth taking a shot on. Josh Freeman could be the same way now that TB added Vincent Jackson and Carl Nicks. At least there's one position on my team I don't need to worry about too much.

That's true--but you said that when Freeman had his break out year as well. Then he regressed. If anything, I respect your ballsyness in going QB again, and taking the BPA. A lot of people wouldn't. Hopefully you're like the Lions under Millen; they kept taking WR's, until it paid off BIG TIME in Megatron.

Never actually compared Locker to anyone in Arizona, i simply said that Arizona's QB situation is no worse than Tennessee's. I'll anoint the great Jake Locker superior to the jumbled up mess in Arizona when he actually does something.

Until then, give me Floyd over Wright again, and again, and again.

Sadly, Calvin Johnson used to be on my team. I traded him away for a batch of picks, including a pair of first rounders, when I decided to rebuild. I had the first three picks of that one draft, and I know at least one of them was from the Megatron trade, so it's quite possible that part of my Megatron compensation was Jimmy Clausen.

Fair warning FYI, CCFF's absence may cause longer delays. Once I leave work (5:00) and head home, I've got to worry about kids, dinner, home stuff, so I won't be making a pick until much later tonight if it goes past 5:00.

fielding offers from phone while at hospital working, doing the best i can. if i get a good deal ill just pull the trigger so if youre negotiating with me, put your best deal out first, because you may not get a chance to outbid.

love stephen hill, hate his situation. As soon as he went to the jets I knew i'd be staying away. Hope he pans out matt because hes certainly got the physical tools.

I like his situation actually. The Jets need WRs and its not like Holmes was lights out last season. He will get a chance to play from day 1 and prove he can be their #1 guy. Sure Sanchez isn't great, but he's not terrible. Plus with the physical tools Hill brings, he's hard not to like.

So instead of Blackmon for me at 1.4, I end up with Wilson, Wright, Hill, and still have another pick in the 1st. My weak WR corps has been addressed and I added a young RB too.

Fancy, take a look at my roster and let me know if we can get a deal done. Probably not, and depending on what's on the board in a few picks, I'm really interested in moving up into the top of the 2nd, which is a price that I can more realistically afford.

fancy traded to me.. im on the clock..

give me a few minutes and I will get my pick in....

    ---------- Post added April-30th-2012 at 06:23 PM ----------

pick is in boys... went with my gut here... the Luck to Fleener connection could be huge in a couple of years... I wasnt sure he would make it to 2.1... so i moved up to make sure I get my 3 targets... with having 2 more 2nds I am in good shape with plenty of talent left on the board....

CCFF is on the clock, unless he traded that pick....
