I think this years draft should prove why we needed a 4th round. There are still guys out there right now, undrafted, that I would have taken had I had more 4th rounders. There were guys in the 4th that I would have taken in the 3rd to make sure I got them, if I had picks in the 3rd. This was an abnormally deep draft maybe, but the 4th round had value this year.

Riggo: I actually like your idea about the compensatory picks. We had discussed something akin to that previously but for reasons unrelated to the PS. I think it makes sense if we can figure out how to decide whether someone gets a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th compensatory pick. Maybe, just like the NFL, it should be based on the subsequent year's performance.
