Studs are matchup-proof much of the time. Morris is not a stud, although he is producing like one lately in his situation.
He's still not a guy that you buy sky-high while selling a talented WR1 on a struggling, normally-elite offense at his absolute floor, if not lower.
Regardless, the trade has nothing to do with this weekend's matchup, its about the long game. This is dynasty, not re-draft. You could demolish me completely, with Morris having the best fantasy game of his career and Nelson putting up a goose egg, and this would still be a bad trade for you, and I'd still feel the same about it.
And not to bring private **** in here, but yes, the trade I offered you is much better than the one you just made. At least you would have gotten a stud back, along with two more players with the potential to be fantasy studs...not Morris, and Santana Moss's corpse. You gave away Nelson, and then you inexplicably threw in Turner (old and crappy or not) and a 3rd.
You're letting your homerism get the better of you, as evidenced by the fact that until you just cut Banks you had at least 8 Skins on your roster.
I wasn't trying to **** all over you when I made that comment, it was just a throwaway remark. Sorry. But if you're going to open it up like this, I'm going to tell you exactly how ****ty it was. Let's put it on the table, since that's where you want to go.
An opening offer of Miles Austin, Sidney Rice, and Jon Baldwin for Cruz and a 2nd, again an opening offer with no negotiation yet, was 100x better than what you actually took for Nelson, Turner, and a 3rd--Morris and Moss.
And just to put it out there, I hope you aren't actually angry with my remark. This is just how we roll in here, we evaluate each other's deals....critically. And truthfully. No hard feelings.

I like the face that he threw in the 3rd rounder, it has that "no, let us give you a pick to go along with Champ Bailey" kind of feel to it. On a side note, Hitman just became my new target ***** (replacing GOSKN5) for lopsided trade proposals.
My first thought was that you gave Nelson away. Didn't look too much into the trade and the teams. And Turner is some ****, Quzz should be the guy. They should have just cut Turner this offseason.
Can everyone congratulate Pho on his first W. Very impressive.

And yeah I'd rather have Miles over Morris

That's all right gentlemen, **** on the deal as much as you want. When I keep winning I'll be sure to give you some salt for that crow. I've got my strategy, and so far it seems to be working.
I have no doubt my big board wouldn't look like many of yours. I've got my guys, and they're winning for me. See you on the field.![]()

Fair enough, the new bloods got confidence I'll give him that.
Damn, Conn. You're rushing us in PF's so far

Yeah, my average is 10 points higher than Hitman's, but his team is a fluke. 50 points higher per week than trizzy in last place.

Twenty-Eight, I haven't looked at your trade proposal yet, I'm sure it's ****ty though. If I reject it, I'm going to figure out some way to mail you the bathroom-destroying log I'm about to grace the office with, just as a reminder that I propose the ****ty trades around here, and no one else.
I'm back bitches!!!
