Yeah I almost made a claim last week, but then realized I didn't have the draft pick I might need later on.

I'll try to remember. I can't believe our waivers don't continuously roll from week to week. What bull****.

Conn, I traded Best to Colin in our other dynasty (same rules but .5 ppr). I got Powell, McKnight (who I didn't/don't want), & a 13 2nd rounder for him. Guessing you'd like to be on CCFF's side

That's about all you can expect for him at this point, but I've been trying to scoop up Best at his lowest value in all my leagues so yeah I like his side. He won't budge in this league the bastard.

9 Hrs The commish has made a change to the waiver rules.

When i went in to take a look at our waiver options, i switched from "waiver" to "blind bid", then back to "waiver" to see if it listed options i may have missed or i've never seen, which it didn't. I hit save when i went back to "waivers" just to be sure i didn't screw anything up. But i didn't actually change anything.

Okay, I feel a little silly asking this, but how again does waiver priority work in our league? I ask because like many of you probably did, I put in a claim on Brandon Bolden. My waiver priority was 3rd, if I recall correctly. Twenty Eight got him, so I have to assume Twenty Eights priority was either first or second. However, despite my not actually claiming anyone (Bolden was my only claim) I'm now listed with a waiver priority of fourth. What am I missing here?

Yea I actually got bolden and I was third because I was thinking there is no way that the two in front of me dont claim bolden....

I think the waivers work by worst record at that current time gets first waiver pick... and then after claims are made it goes by worst record of those that didnt make claims.... or something like that..

Ok back to a fantasy note:

I'm the Commish in a league with a bunch of buddies from HS. This is the 3rd year of the league, 2nd with me being the commish.

I was offered a trade of AJ Green and Carson Palmer for RG3 and Morris. Maybe not the best of deals for me, but I have Matt Ryan and I have some other solid RBs and need help at WR with Jennings going out. The other guy does have Cam has his QB but didn't really like him, plus he's a Skins fan so he wanted RG3. But his RBs are McFadden and Andre Brown so he definitely needed RB help.

So needless to say it was vetoed. This is the 2nd time a trade has been vetoed this year and both times the trades have been perfectly fine. So as commish, what should I do? It's basically the same 2 douches who keep trying to get people to veto anything that doesn't go their way.

rule with an iron fist.

vetos should only be allowed if collusion is formally suspected and accused. convince your league of that using traditional conservative ideology, ie, every man should have the right to run his team as he sees fit because no one can tell the future and it is not the job of the league to collectively approve of someone's way of managing. then, change the rules using your site to make it not an option or just make a rule that vetos arent allowed. in the event collusion is suspected, the proper procedure should be for the accuser to state his accusation, and then people can vote if they agree or not based on the grounds given. only then can a trade be overturned. good luck.

And now I just made another deal of RG3 and Spiller for Rivers and Wallace. They have no problem with this one, yet its pretty much exactly the same.

yeah, at the end of the day, most league problems are just people problems. the role of commissioner becomes that of a moderator or public relations and never what people sign up for. im the commish of a league that Saleem and I are in and its finally settling down. He actually took over commissionership of another league we are in that is like 12 years old or something and serves mostly as an outlet for old friends to argue with each other. It has to be the worst job ever.

If no one in your league thanks you, let me do it for them. And on that note, thank you drop and pho for putting up with us.

How are two people vetoting? They getting other folks to hop on board? I'm in 3 paid leagues and none allow VETO. If you trust people and their judgement enough to be in a league wi th them; nobody should ever veto. If there isn't collusion: the trade should go through. EVERY TIME
