GO wins this weekend. **** you Conn....eat **** and die. You're done in every league we share friend.
Need some trade help in another league... dynasty...
My team has started off hot, 7-0 thus far, but I have zero depth.. last in the league in bench points.. I am led by RG3, Cruz, and bears DEF... however, my RBs are peterson and murray/felix... nothing after them...
I am trying to get McFadden from an owner... I have sent a bunch of offers, the only one he will touch is this:
I get McFadden and Amendola
for Larry Fitz and 2 first rounders....
My thoughts are that Larry has not done much this year and I think is one the downside especially with the QB situation... McFadden is realitively young and can make up for losing the picks I think even though he has been a little down this year..... Amendola is going to be back soon and potentially a PPR beast for years to come... BUT losing the two firsts hurts me in the long run for sure and is it just too much for McFadden?
help me out before the guy retracts the trade offer... haha
might be a little steep for DMC. but if you love him, it could be worth it.
For what it's worth....a few weeks ago I traded away DMC and Kenny Britt for Fitz, Quizz, a 2nd, and a 4th.
Britt was looking like Kenny Brittle...and as much as i LOVE McFadden, i couldn't pass up Fitz. I don't think the "downside of his career" arguement holds water with him. He's still a stud, and he's going to be a stud for a few more years. Plus i really like Quizz, and i plan on flipping the picks to move up higher in the draft of acquire some additional talent down the line.

too bad you guys couldn't witness the absolute ownage I laid down on our buddy Conn in another league of ours. We're in the same division. He's got a really good team. I tore mine down last year about half way into the season because of injuries and lack of production. Now i've got my team trending upwards, and Conn gets criticized for having no depth. He's facing going 4 - 4 this weekend if he loses again, and it could put his playoff hopes in jeopardy. Me...i'm just a lowly ass team with RG3 and Fitz as my anchors. (different league than the one i was telling GO about)
Well long story short, he said i wouldn't beat him at least once this season. We made a sig bet. lol....guess who won our first matchup of the year last week? Oh and i gave him hell about it too. Maybe I should post the meme's i created about it here if you guys are interested in seeing the carnage. Hey...maybe i should get you guys to help me decide what Conn should have to put in his sig at our board for that league!
I don't love DMC but I do think I can possibly win the league this year with him but losing fitz would have to be replaced ... not sure amendola replaces those points
Fitz is the model of consistency. DMC is always an injury concern. That was the main reason i moved DMC for Fitz.
Get that IR/PS straight after your latest add 28.
you cheating ****
I'm always partial to the rainbow-ass child as a sig bet. You might have seen Toe Jam sporting it a few years ago.
Link me or show me what you're talking about Pho. This is Conn we're taking about so its gotta be REAL good.
Quizz or Hunter?? which one do you guys like more?
Quizz.
I traded them both away in the same league two days in a row oddly enough.
Hunter. Quizz has convinced me that he's absolutely...average. Just a guy. And I was high on him coming into the league.
Quizz hasn't REALLY been given his chance yet. I don't see anything about Hunter that particularly stands out to be honest. Quizz at least fits that Sproles mold where he can be a deadly weapon anytime he touches the ball.
What Conn....no opinions on my GEDL or BSBDL trades? lol

Sorry for the absence gentleman. I never thought I'd read that pho missed me. Let me stir the pot a little then...
I've been a little preoccupied with my other dynasty league regarding a very radical commissioner decision I made regarding the issue of incomplete lineups, but in a much different manner (no slight GO)... A notoriously hypoactive manager submitted an incomplete lineup on fleaflicker with 4 guys missing, 3 of which were skill players.
I questioned my understanding of the nature of managing a team. I say manage because when a manager quits (and everyone eventually does), it is the league that resumes management of the team, including the selection of the new manager, and the submission of starting lineups until a new manager is selected. In this way, I think of the league as co-op. The league exists as an entity; we only own its 12 shares, which represent the right to manage its teams. If a manager of one of the teams disparages the value of his team, through "gross negligence", the commissioner and guardian of the co-op is bound to intercede and protect the integrity of the league. The draft order is the clearest value in a (non money) dynasty league. The commissioner in a money league collects and protects the buy-in, and in this case, should protect the draft order and balance of power.
Therefore, i retroactively changed the starting lineup the following Monday, to represent the most logical starting lineup, and initiated a probation process, whereby the manager was expelled from the league after not showing signs of regret or recommittal, including not submitting a lineup again the following week. This was a radical case of negligence that required a radical decision to correct. Some in the league have argued that it is not my duty to correct. I think it is, when clear. Of course judgement and discretion is required; forgetting one or two guys occasionally on bye, is not gross negligence and doesn't require a radical correction. I do not believe this set the precedent that it is ok to not set your lineup.
The analogy of a dynasty league being a co-op is best contrasted by the analogy of the "rental car" representing your typical redraft league, whether its for money or not. Every year, a group of guys decide to rent a car, and they make sure to get the insurance. The condition of the car at the end of the year is not important. In fact, if some of the drivers get arrested along the way, the remaining drivers actually benefit, so long as someone at the end of the season can return the car to the rental agency for the deposit.
I think this decision requires a paradigm shift about the ownership vs management of a dynasty team. I believe the decision hinges upon whether you believe correcting the lineup rewards the delinquent manager or the league as a whole.
Interested to hear your thoughts.
Jesus christ CCFF, i don't know what the **** goes on in that brain of yours. But yeah, I think giving the guy the boot is your responsibility, and it was the right choice.
Good to see you around poindexter.
