the new guy can still make trades the same as Riggo and Hitman were able to. He'll just need to know what his roster and draft picks are. If he makes any trades, they'll have to be pushed through by a commish on Flea Flicker.....if we decide to stay with Flea Flicker.

Anyone had any thoughts about moving to MFL and making this thing a pay league? Who was opposed to it in the beginning?

TDR, MFL is INFINITELY better than Flea Flicker. Just everything from top to bottom...the interface, the functionality, the ability to customize your page. We could really spruce up our league and up the competition level by turning this into a pay league and moving to MFL. We'd be able to conduct our rookie draft through the site, instead of doing it on the message board the way we've done it here for years. We could eliminate the need to have certain information split between this message board and the flea flicker message board. We'd have a message board right on the league page with MFL, but could obviously continue to use this as our main message board. One cool thing we'd have would be a chat on the league page, which is a plus in my opinion. It even looks like we can import our league from Flea Flicker straight to MFL without losing our league history. I'm not 100% sure about that, being that i've never tried it before.

Conn and Matt have used MFL...ask them their opinion. I bet they have good things to say. And guys, i'm not talking about a big money league here. Something like a $25 - $30 dollar buy in. I don't think that's too crazy...do you guys?

Definitely think MFL is pretty cool. Seems much easier to use and things are more organized than FleaFlicker.

Everyone just has to remember, MFL has a fee ($69.95 total last season for signing up before June 1st or something like that, and we may get a discount for moving over from FF) so we have to make the league a pay league if we switch. And i don't think there's any fun in paying just to use MFL's service. We might as well up the ante and make this thing for a little cash as opposed to just bragging rights.

We could have a nice little pot for the champ, and something decent for runner up. We could even do something like $20 to each division winner if we want, or something for the team with the best in season record. There's a ****load of possibilities to think about. We would use leaguesafe.com for the funds. I've used them two years in a row and you can't beat them for your league funds.

And if you're worried about being in a rebuild, look at the league this year alone. All three bottom feeders from last year advanced to the playoffs. I've never seen anything like that in my 7 years of fantasy football experience. This league has experienced, knowledgeable owners and I think we have an ideal amount of parity and balance. You shouldn't be discouraged if you feel like you're in a rebuild. Again, we're not putting our mortgages on the line here. And while I realize $25 may be more to one person than another, I think it's reasonable for a league like ours.

Just start thinking about it, because after the championship week we're going to open trades back up, we'll put this out for further discussion and a vote, we'll address new ownership and get someone in place, and anything else anyone wants to discuss or address.

I also play in MFL leagues... it is a ton better overall... i would be fine with a pay league as well as long as the fee didnt get above $30 or so...

As for replacement person I am sure that Trizz would turn over his team to the new owner on FF... they could just change email and password to the new guys stuff... right??

    So just some quick math:

    $30 x 12 = $360

MFL allows importing of FF leagues. If you do so, they also take off %50 of the annual fee.

    $360 - $35 (annual MFL fee) = $325

Each division winner gets their money back, so:

    $325 - $90 = $235

Annual points leader gets double their money back:

    $235 - $60 = $175 (this amount for the league champ)

Not too shabby. I know we don't really have any problems in terms of participation from league members, but it would definitely make checking the little things a priority. I will say this: we should have any loopholes, kinks, etc. ironed out before turning this into a cash league. We have strong personalities on here, and even though we all like each other (except 28, he sucks), we should make sure issues of the past do not become issues of the future.

Also, just for the record, I'm totally down with a $100 buy in, but I know other people have financial restraints. I obviously don't have kids/wife, but just putting it out there that I'd be willing to go that high.

Yeah guys, don't mess with TDR the high roller. His Facebook is littered with pictures of that staple of being young and rich, holding up bottles of liquor that he willingly paid 500% markup for just to say he had "bottle service" and "looked cool." Which he never does, but who am I to judge? Some other points:

    - I'm disappointed that my offer of eyeball ****ing and face dumping was not discussed. I don't make these offers for nothing boys!

    - I have been staunchly against the idea of a pay league in the past, mostly because while I'm generally up to date on my teams and pay attention, I didn't want to devote that much time to things with young kids, etc. Also, these sorts of websites are blocked by my works filters, so if some big news about an injury hits, and the FA backup is sitting there waiting to be picked up, I'm screwed until I can get home, which gives players without these firewalls a decided advantage (I'm speaking post-waivers each week here).

    - However, the kids are a little older and sleeping through the night better, so I'm not as out of it anymore. And the FA thing is something I'll have to deal with. For a nominal fee, I'd still be willing to participate.

    - Also, why the **** would we give the points leader double their money back? I could see that for the runner up, but the points leader? Luck is luck. The New Orleans Saints are currently fifth in the NFL in scoring, and they're 6-8. Should they be given a playoff spot (money) just because they score a lot. Of course not. That's a ridiculous idea. If you don't win something, you don't deserve dick. Well, in this example, you don't deserve money, but Trizz might still give you his dick if you ask politely. I'm otherwise fine with TDR's math. Assuming it was $30, it would shake out to a $325 prize pool, $30 for the two division winners (or wildcard) who lose in the semi's, $90 for the runner up ($30 for winning division, $60 for second place) and $175 for the winner. I'd be fine with something like that. Maybe we could even tweak second place down to something like $75 so that the winner of the 3rd place game gets $45.

    - Speaking of the 3rd place game, I'm playing you this week CCFF. This Christmas, I hope you get raped by a snowman and die of ass frostbite.

    LOL, great post Pho.

I'd be fine with a $30 buy in if that's a number everyone likes. I'd be fine with $25 as well, and then discuss moving to $30 the following year. However you guys wanna do it is good with me.

And yeah should we go this route, I think we should have some options thrown out there and then vote on how we want to go about our payout structure.

I'm really glad this idea is seemingly catching on.

TDR, myself, Pho, GO are all on board with a switch to MFL/pay league. I'm pretty sure Conn is too, but i don't want to speak for anyone.I guess this is sort of an unofficial vote, but if we can hear from everyone now, we can get a decision on this, and then move forward on selecting a new owner.

I'll speak for Conn. He prefers it on his face. At least, that's what Hitman said, I wouldn't know.

I do prefer it on my face, I'm glad some things being said about me in here are true. Jesus Christ. That's why I taught all of your mothers how to squirt.

    Think of it like this:

Anyways, moving on. I'm in favor of moving to MFL and making this a pay league, if the interest is league wide. I don't want anybody to feel bullied into it and then quit a year from now because they were never really on board with the idea. This is the time to be frank, boys. Man up and tell us what you think. Hitman, throw together some consonants and vowels for us just so we know you're alive with full use of at least one finger, a toe, a nose, a dexterous penis, or some other typing instrument. As it stands, I'll assume you're in a full body cast getting your **** wiped three times daily by a lovely behemoth of a nurse named Helga. Thanks.

I'll find and work on the ad from last year and present it here for approval before bringing it to the unwashed masses of ES. Obviously we have some league business to attend to right now that we don't need a new guy being a part of, first. We want to be able to advertise this as a serious pay league if that's what it becomes, of course.

Noobs from last offseason, you're almost not rookies here anymore. But may the trade rapes go on forever.

Things you itchy scrote worms need to know:

    o MFL is awesome.

o MFL is fully customizable and Drop and I know an awesome graphics guy who can hook us up with some Redskins sweetness for our home page, as well as customized team logos and such. He'll have all summer to work on it and I'm sure he'll be open to helping out when he's got time to kill. Does a great job in the other few leagues Drop and I share with him.

o MFL is better than FF and rarely if ever has problems. It also doesn't lock in the offseason. We can do what we want when we want, and it will keep track of everything for us, including drafts, intricate trades, etc.

o MFL has the chat interface that Drop mentioned, which will be nice for drive-by trash talking as well as game day chat and such that we're all too lazy to come post in here, which shall remain the active dynasty Mecca it has always been.

o MFL is awesome. If I didn't mention that.

Any questions, or are you all too busy jerking it to weird Japanese tentacle porn, left wondering what to do with the dirty tube sock? The answer is WASH IT you ****ing morons, and do yourself a favor and find a real, live woman. Just don't marry her, or you'll end up like Drop.

    Divorced.....get it?

I'm unequivocably on board with both moving to MFL and making this a pay league. FF is blocked at my office so that move would just improve the limited access that I do have now.

You can split up the pie however you want, but I'm a firm believer in paying out to the points winner. 2x their buy-in sounds ok, but I would push for 3x. Most points in a season is the lithmus indicator for the best team really.

I am down for a pay league, although 100$ seems a little steep to me, I'm definitely on board with $30 or even a little more. As far as the website goes, I kind of like FF honestly and like I said last time we discussed it I don't like the idea of having to pay to use a website when there are so many free options out there, I'm all for paying to add to the "winner pot" but I have no problem with FF especially considering it's free.

Also I think someone mentioned this but if we were to move to the other website would we be able to fully upload our league history? That is one of my biggest concerns, I don't want to lose all the history we have collected on FF (especially my 2 championship appearances ).
