Dude, I was about to concede to YOU. I think Gore can do it, but I won't believe it until I see it. I thought a Ravens blowout would have helped you tremendously because of garbage time points for Hicks/Rice, but it actually wound up hurting you. If Gore has ~9 points and fumbles I'll cry, lol.

What a great championship matchup, very nice! Good luck to both of you, but I have to think that Gore will beat 8-9 points. Either way, whoever wins earned it!

I think Drop may pull this out. San Fran is falling so far behind that they're going to have to air it out the rest of the game. A Gore TD reception may be TDR's only hope.

    Wow. Crazy matchup!

I 100% disagree with the people who love the IDP and thinks its a complete waste of time that adds even more luck and randomness to a hobby that already has too much of it, but I'll drop it if there's no traction here to change because otherwise it won't be productive conversation. But if CCFF and Hitman are the only strong supporters, I think it's worth discussing. We can do other, far more interesting things to make our league unique than a half-baked IDP system almost no one puts tons of thought or time into. That's why we're talking about changing the ineffective PS claiming system, isn't it?

Can't believe you're going to hang on! Remember when Gore used to catch passes? Lol

I might have crapped the bed in the championship bracket...but thankfully B&G pissed away both his games as well, giving me the #5 and #9 picks in the upcoming draft.

Wow, congrats Drop. What a game...I'm extremely bitter and pissed off because you're my kryptonite, but even if I pulled it out I would have thought that you "outplayed" me. The worst part is that Gore had not been under 10 points in the past four games, and he also had his best game of the season against these very same Seahawks half a season ago. In any case, I'm proud of my team for getting this far without my (arguably) best player, Gronk. I'll have to reload for next season, though. Gore is clearly on his last legs.

In any case, good game bud!

Thank you TDR good game to you too buddy.

When i tweaked this team in the offseason, i knew i had something special. looking at TDRs roster really made me start second guessing myself this week. i believed i had the best team in this league all year long....then i look across and see Gore/Peterson/Calvin/Andre/Gronk etc...and i started second guessing myself. I had to stick with the lineup i envisioned riding all year, and luckily everyone came to play but Nicks. Im just glad Nicks goose egg didn't hurt me.

Moral of the story...new league champ bitches. Suck it. CCFF, i demand you remove that blasphemous championship metal. And everyone give me some ideas for Conn, Matt, and Riggos team names. I may just allow the co-commish to take care of this because something tells me he'll be able to think of FAR better and insulting names than i can come up with.

This I know won't be popular but here me out...

I think we go to a pay league, we should have a redraft. There's teams in here that are now in the middle of rebuilds and why are they gonna be pay $30 to know they are going to lose next year? Plus, over the last like 2 or 3 years, we've had like 4 or 5 new owners.

I'm fine with making this a pay league, but I think it just makes sense to start over. New site, new members, new payout. Just makes sense.

First off, I have a feeling this is going to be the worst offseason in recent memory, because at least the previous champs disappeared for awhile. Drop is here constantly to remind us.

Second, Matt, sorry to say I disagree. As Drop has pointed out, three of the four teams in the championship this season were the three last place teams last year. I say this knowing full well my team basically succeeded thanks to two players, and good IDP's. I could very easily be the dregs of the league again next season.

Drop, I'm willing to step up if necessary, though the honor of renames should fall to you. I will honor the name change CCFF gave me through the end of the regular season, then I'm changing it back.

lol, you and tdr don't have to honor ****...i won, im the champ. you can change that team name to whatever whenever. ccff's rule is OVER.

and Matt. i def disagree. there's no reason to start over. that totally kills the dynasty aspect of a dynasty league. im in a rebuild in another league with conn but i pay to play. its part of the challenge...it makes me want to hone my craft even more and step up. i want to turn my team into a contender and win a championship there even more because i do pay.

we've shown that with patience you can mold a team or turn a team around in this league. if i thought we had terrible owners and teams that were simply never gonna compete...i wouldn't have even entertained making this a pay league. a redraft is just that, a redraft. This is a dynasty league.

I would rather keep it a free league than draft over...

my team is finally starting to take shape and i have been here since the beginning... i think there is enough turnover in this league that anyone could make a run at a championship next year... I also like the fact that we are most likely going to be paying several positions, not just the champion...

Yeah I'm definitely not in favor of a redraft. I think that while doing a service to people who are in a rebuild, it's also a disservice to those who are happy with their teams. I personally mortgaged draft picks for established players early on to compete now, but I've switched my strategy with an eye on the future. Doing a redraft would basically undo all the strategy that I put into this team.
