Good post Drop... appreciate the hard work... i see CCFFs point.. A team that is mathmatically eliminated might tank to get the first round pick... thus making their team better by adding a player or trading the pick... i just dont agree that is a problem in this league... or that any name change will deter it... i just think that is a commish issue to handle if it comes up... which i dont expect...

Also if banners are a need my wife can crank out some for us... just might take a little time with her job taking most of her computer/editing time... she can do simple ones quick.. like the one she did for drop... but also can do some serious more indepth ones similar to my signature...

For what it's worth, I didn't enjoy being The Power Bottoms, though I admit it didn't crush me or anything. I did like getting rid of it though.

Anyway, new rule. I like ranting as much as the next guy, but even I have lines I won't cross, unlike Drop. Could everyone please submit a list of immediate (female) family members who are deceased and thus off limits from being described in terms of my skull-banging them in the eyes? This should be required from the new owner as well.

Cool beans. If MFL prevents an incomplete lineup, the problem doesn't really exist.

I guess I'd still like to see some sort of penalty but maybe that's just the sadist in me. I'm glad knowing that at the least Pho's name had the desired effect, which is to say, not a cure but some help. Thank you to whoever helped with that name. Was it you, Pho? Drop?

Ok, one last try... can we do both? Keep the city theme with the penalty name?

Not to get too corney, but I feel closer to drop, TDR, and Pho after I named their team for the year, which is something the whole geographic name change was trying to accomplish. Not trying to be stubborn, but I enjoyed this rule, and think its good for the league.

If people still aren't interested in keeping it after considering the rule on these merits, I won't put up anymore of a fight.

in case you haven't looked lately, it's getting better! CCFF gave me 28's email so if we can just get him and riggo to accept the invite, everyone will be in.

the rest of you who haven't need to select a helmet and get your team names straight.

our next order of business is getting the new owner in here so let's get our teams straight and get moving on that.

oh and a little hint, while i'm still playing with skins and whatnot for the site, in case something ever doesn't look right after i make a change, you can always go to Customize Page at the top right of the page and then you should see something like "reset to commish view", that'll get you the most up to date changes i've made. it should do it automatically, but if you have it set to use a different skin other than the one i have set as the default, it could look funny.

The draft order on MFL needs to be updated. It shows I only have 4 picks (the 6th pick in each round).

I actually have:

1.06
2.06
3.03
3.11
4.03
4.06
4.12

and then 2 picks in the first, second, and third rounds of next year

Yes, this is correct. I haven't gotten around to addressing it, but this is what i'm getting ready to start working on. I'm going to go based off of Flea Flicker's current order. might take a while but i'll get our 2013 and 2014 picks right. everything else will fall in place once we begin playing next season.
