the draft picks are going to take some figuring out. i've got the picks right...but they're showing as 2012 picks, not 2013. I may not be able to fix those until the site rolls over for next season.

Yes, this is correct. I haven't gotten around to addressing it, but this is what i'm getting ready to start working on. I'm going to go based off of Flea Flicker's current order. might take a while but i'll get our 2013 and 2014 picks right. everything else will fall in place once we begin playing next season.

Sorry haven't been around much at all fellas, the last 2-3 weeks have been insanely hectic, had a very scary family emergency but I'm back at work now so I should be able to check in more often. Seems like i haven't missed too much, looking forward to the "new member" process.

You mean in the bylaws on MFL? If so, i'll get to that eventually. The bylaws in general need some tweaking.

Glad everything's ok b&g. When you get the time just make sure to choose a team name with the city/mascot theme. I don't care if you call your team the Baltimore Orioles or the Charm City O's since that's your helmet. But our old names need to be changed or at least modified. Like Riggo's team for example, that's fine if he just puts a city in front of Kung Foo Fighters. However, the California with a dude's balls just sounds stupid. lol

Fellas, one other thing. I'm sure you've noticed in my recent posts the idea of there just being too much formality in this league when it comes to simple tasks. I'm gonna put this bluntly and simply...i'm going to fast track this replacement owner process. Instead of sending out pm's to everyone, and telling you all to stay tuned and be active and be around for a vote...Conn is going to get the ad out for a new owner. Whoever is around to check out the thread is more than welcome to chime in on who they think we should pick. Anyone who's around will have a say. If you aren't around, i'm not chasing you down. Whoever is here is going to pick this replacement owner. I know Conn and I will be on top of it...and i expect we'll hear from regulars like Fancy, Pho, and GO. I'm not knocking anyone or complaining..i'm just saying if you don't have a say and you all of a sudden realize we have a replacement owner, it'll be because you weren't around to voice your opinion. And it's no big deal, we don't NEED 12 votes to choose a replacement owner. A smaller group of us can handle that.

So i'm not calling anyone out, i'm not saying anything's wrong. I'm just saying don't be surprised if you don't check in for a few days and we have a new guy here introducing himself in the thread.

Oh okay nevermind I was looking for a specific "location" field. My mistake, all done. Just wondering but why do our team names have to have a location now?

just for some league uniformity. since we're largely a local league, i thought it would be cool to get a more localized feel with our team names. just sorta strengthens our identity as the Extreme Skins Dynasty League, and makes this feel more like a "league" then a bunch of amateurs with stupid goofball fantasy football names.

Hey CCFF, in case you've missed it, yes i changed your helmet to the one with the donkey. TDR, i changed yours to a PSU concept helmet, couldn't find one with the nittany lion on it. As i said before, MFL does have their own helmets to choose from, but they're terrible looking. www.mghelmets.com is a much better source for helmets. CCFF, like i said on the league chat, i couldn't find a duck but i found that stupid ass donkey and although i really wanted to give that to 28 because he's such a jackass, the Dallas helmet fits him better, so i put that in for you. Feel free to choose whatever you want, but please pick it from mghelmets so our league page maintains a consistent, and crisp look. Same to you TDR if you don't like the one i found for you. Penn State has a number of helmets there, so you may want to look around.

CCFF, Riggo, and twenty-eight also need to get their team names right in the city/mascot formula still. Yes, i'm harping on you about this. Get it done ladies.

Other than that, let's see what happens with getting a new owner.

also, if you read the bylaws you'll notice some minor changes and some cleaning up of some previous terminology that no longer applies now that we're using MFL. I did away with all the voting for replacement owners stuff. I changed some of Kur's antiquated verbiage. I added MFL, paysite, leaguesafe etc etc. And i DID not mess with the Practice Squad stuff, because we're gonna get that fixed this offseason.

After we get a new owner, and before the NFL draft, we're gonna talk about our PS and how to fix it because frankly our system sucks, it doesn't work, it's never worked, it's unnecessary, and i for one think we need to do away with the signing other people's PS players all together. I just don't see a system in which it really works. But we'll put that on the back burner until we get other stuff done and the season rolls over on MFL.

I also didn't touch the trade thread stuff. I don't see the trade thread here, looks like it dissapeared. No big deal. For now, just continue to trade on Flea Flicker, and i'll update it on MFL. Just remember, if you trade a draft pick you need to make a note of it, and since i don't see the trade thread you may need to note it here. But once MFL rolls over, we'll be done with the draft thread. It'll be unnecessary and useless.

You will notice one thing I implemented, a $10 late fee for not paying your league dues on time. I haven't set a due date for that, and everyone will be given PLENTY of notice trust me. If someone can't meet the deadline to pay their league dues, they'll be charged $10 extra that will go into the league winnings.

And to access the league bylaws on MFL...at the top of the screen go to Reports->Rules->League Bylaws
