I probbaly wont be able to check back in until 4 PM tomorrow, so if we get a flood of responses don't pick before then guys lol. Especially since half the applications will probably be in my PM box.

That is ridiculous. So many changes have already been made to get folks more involved. Haha and you threaten to restrict my team name? Geez. Wish you spent that time ironing out the PS rules.

Anyway, I don't think I still have time for this league. I don't want ot be too vague but I don't think I'll be around much over the next 4-8 months, definitely not over the summer. I can't commit to this league like I have in the past. I don't think I can rent my team out for a year or see if I can do it next season. Might be time for me to just move on. No hard feelings gentlemen. Been a great four years and I wish you all the best of luck.

And yet, people STILL aren't checking the board regularly, people are STILL disappearing for a month or more at a time, people STILL aren't chiming in when it comes time to discuss league issues. I'm gonna make this real simple because we have new owners coming in and they don't need the drama.

I didn't see you, or anyone else grabbing that by the horns and spearheading a conversation. If it matters to you, speak up....don't disappear for a month because you didn't make the playoffs. Don't expect a broken system to be magically fixed when you decide to come back around. Don't be pissed off when people are making changes in your absence. My idea for the PS as I've said before is to scrap the stupid claiming system all together. And that may be going up for a vote this offseason. So if anyone feels STRONGLY about a way to modify it, instead of my idea to just scrap the claims....SPEAK UP. Speaking for you isn't my job as commissioner.

Other than that, good luck 28. As i said in my pm, don't be a stranger. It's in the best interest of the league that we have someone more committed than you've been lately buddy.

THIS, gentleman, is why i sent out feelers when I did about who was coming back...THIS was what i wanted to avoid. I'd just like to thank Trizz again for coming out right when I asked and declaring his intentions...THOSE are the types of things that make a dynasty league run smoothly.

Now, CCFF....do you have something you want to say brother? If you do, say it now. I'm not down this passive aggressive horse****. If you're staying, cool. If you're not, that's cool too. But i need to know what the hell is happening so I can get the necessary owners replaced.

I learned a few seasons ago a league is only as good as its members, not the rules. That's a big part of the reason I didn't push more for PS changes after no one backed me up earlier this year.

This league is highly active, IMO, but is inconsistent, just as people will naturally be over the course of the year and years on end. We are closer to a democracy than an oligarchy, and the offseason is no different. A revolving door doesn't provide a league identity, and league rules don't talk back.

I believe 28's resignation was not your desired effect, Drop, but I hope it is a lesson for all of us for the future. The irony of someone quitting over a rule designed to encourage participation should be lasting. I will add a geographic location to the beginning of my name. Can someone post the league address again? I can't find login on mobile site.

The less emotionally invested we are in our visions for the league the easier we will be able to enjoy the one that we have.

Well i'm glad you're not going anywhere CCFF. It certainly makes this replacement thing much easier. And thank you for the speedy response. Ok...so Conn, if you would please modify the ad for TWO available teams, and go ahead and list 28's roster. I know we did this differently last year, but perhaps we should do a dispersal draft this time around. Both teams are solid, and have plenty of talent.....i dunno, whatever you guys think is best. It's either that or determine who gets what team some other way.

I'm gonna go check the ads and see what kind of interest we've gotten so far.

I dont think dispersal is needed... just let them pick which team they want... give first pick to the first team that replied and was accepted as new member... just easier that way IMO

I'm just not sure where I'll be and what I'll be up to in the next few months. I didn't see this coming. Was absent for a month because my personal laptop broke and I needed a break from Fantasy Football. We're all allowed a break every 4 years I don't think I'll have the time to keep my team updated and keep up w/ this thread. Don't mean to leave you fellas high and dry. I'm sure you'll find a suitable replacement. Good luck gentlemen.
