Well, Hitman didn't fall for my cunning ploy. Onto the next victim...

Not cool...heck, what I was trying to do wasn't cool. I'm just throwing it out here because the idea was genius even though it didn't work. I sent Hitman a trade offer for his 1st rounder, offering some later round picks of mine, with the description "Just trying to get everything in compliance from the old site." I'll be honest, I figured there might be a chance to take advantage of converting over to the new site, or make him think I was someone else since we don't have the new team names memorized, etc. I was going to try it with one of the new guys but figured we didn't need anyone else quitting, so I went with a semi-vet. It was a brilliant plan, and a warning that all of you should watch out for me, there's no angle I won't follow.

Maybe next time don't try it with the guy who found the initial problem in the first place...

Eh, I can't be bothered to pay attention to that. I went for a happy medium. I didn't want to do it to one of the new guys and have them quit, Drop and Conn are way to involved and would have sniffed it out, I actually like Matt, I had been in too many negotiations with GO to pull anything on him, etc., etc. You were about one of the few candidates left I felt struck a balance of not being a new guy, and also not throwing a panty staining fit if you fell for it. Plus, as I told Drop in the PM (without actually telling him what I was doing) I had planned on giving the pick back even if it worked, I'm just trying to amuse myself during the offseason.

I sent CCFF a pm here, and TDR a message over on facebook because his inbox is full here. I basically told them i'm a little concerned with their lack of presence around here and that they need to get over to the 2013 MFL page because they're missing out on trade offers, league discussions, polls, etc. I swear these two are turning into Kur! This is what it was like having to hunt him down at facebook all the time.

GO, have you already proposed the necessary deals to TDR and CCFF on the 2013 page? I figured you probably have, but if not it might not be a bad idea so when those two finally log in on the 2013 site the trades are waiting for them to accept.

If anyone needs a QB, Big Ben is on the block. I've had some inquiries for Wilson, but he's probably gonna cost more than you want to pay. A top three 1st, a future 1st, and a decently young and productive WR/RB at least. So on that note, Big Ben can be had for a much more reasonable price. Let's talk a 1st rounder if you're interested.

My wife and I just started watching The League...and I thought we were into Fantasy Football. The best part is she actually likes the show.

Now with that in mind, it has gotten pretty boring around here recently. People not checking in, Drop getting kind of pissy, me trying to make trades that didn't really happen. Will someone pick it up around here, I can't do all the heavy lifting myself.

Not like the two existing guys are even gonna notice until June or so.....hell we'll have forty or fifty more posts in this thread before they make the trades for their 2014 picks on MFL.

This is very unlike both TDR and CCFF though. Makes me wonder if they weren't as on board with the move to MFL as everyone else. I know that CCFF has every one of his other leagues on FF so he wasn't psyched about it...but I thought making it a pay league would make people MORE active. They've got enough of a track record here that I'm willing to assume they've just got a lot of stuff going on, but after 28 leaving I really don't know what to think.

Riggo has never been around much, he's basically been CMILL 2.0 but cooler and more active lol. I think he can't access this stuff at work.
