My evaluation of everyone thus far:

SkinsNut- If AP can have another monster year your RBs are strong and your WRs are the strongest IMO.... if you can somehow manage to pick the right QB your team will be solid

Stosh- Decent core... your WRs worry me a little but they have great potential and upside.... TE is going to hurt you every single week....

28- I actually like your squad... good RBs and then some ???? QB would worry me some because ya never know with McNabb and Arizona still has Kurt lurking...

Armchair- If Brees can start off hot and stay hot and Smith bounces back you should have a pretty good squad I think LT and Turner will make you money

Phow- I dont like your RBs or WRs.... right now... I think your WRs will probably change my mind though when CJ grows some more and if Bowe wasnt a one year wonder....

Drop- pretty nice squad.. Big Ben should be a good QB for years to come but you are thin at RB and WR... but if you can stay healthy solid squad

Kur- if palmer keeps CJ he will have a good year... you are going to need some help at WR I have a feeling.... also I am not sure if Brown will bounce back as good as people think...

BG- your QB situation is going to piss you off.... other than that you got a nice mix of players....

King- your TE situation is rough... you are going to be searching the waiver wires I have a feeling.. he has some upside but could also disappear

Choung- ROMO is going to blow this year...(I have to say that if I believe it or not) I like your team.... I think Jones might be the steal of the draft... with the revamped line in NY

TDR- I love the strategy.... you might struggle this year but you have some nice players already... I think your team will end up being a beast in a year or three....

And finally my team: Honestly I love and hate this team.... I hate that I have weak RBs on paper.... but I am hoping that Graham has another big year and that DWilliams in Carolina will step into the starter role and thrive.. I think he has the potential to have a big big year..... I love my WRs Wayne and Holmes will be a nice pair for a few years and I also think that Stokley is going to have a nice year....

I am also excited about Vernon Davis.... Smith isnt great and a TE is gonna be his safety blanket... If Russell can get the weight undercontrol I think he will be good in a few years... hopefully Brady will stay healthy and have a big year again...

Botom line.. I love the potential on this team and that was my plan... but as STOSH said this team could easily flop with an injury or two or a few players that never live up to potential....

BG nice pick man... he was my next WR on my list and I was probably going to pick him with my next round pick....

I had my eye on him for a few rounds... you get return yards as a plus for him too... if they can get a QB in there to throw to him he should develop nicely....

I couldn't agree more. I fully expect to be cursing at my TV as NFL Sunday Ticket informs me that my benched QB has just thrown his 4th TD of the day. But I had no choice...I narrowly missed the QB's I wanted and I had to scramble to grab one. EVERY year my team sucks it is directly attributable to lack of production from the QB position.

My plans are to offload one QB in a trade once QB's start dropping like flies in mid-season...

As for what we do next off-season...don't you worry, after we implement a $100M salary cap in this league you will be deciding who you have to cut and who is available in free agency...

i have the best TE from last year and arguably a top 5 TE as a back up... why would i search the waiver wire for a TE?

ok, so a buddy of mine just looked at the rosters......

looking at it from a dynasty perspective, he's got:
    Nut
    Go
    B&G
    Drop
    28

    then we have this conversation...

"hey man, lemme see who's on your list"
    "um, I don't really have a list"
    "do what?"
"nah man, I just pick 'em as they come"
"you have got to be "excrementing" me"
    " "
    "holy moley"

...oh yea, by the way...when the schedule comes out in a few weeks and you realize that the Broncos AND the Texans both have the SAME BYE WEEK...then it will cost you the 2 RB's you thieved from me (Maroney and Watson) for one of my QB's...

You know at least one team is going to get screwed that way, eh?

nice pick with Ted Ginn Jr. I've been thinking about taking him forever but kept pushing him back for various reasons. I hate seeing guys go that i was thinking about taking......but it does make it a little easier when the next pick comes around.

ah what the hell, i'll do a lil synopsis of what i think about everyone's team too.

SkinsNut: Good QB and RB depth. I like Andre Johnson and Witten....minus his still undetermined defensive players....this looks like a pretty solid squad.

Stosh: You stole Kenny Watson from me and that angers me. However, I like your defense a lot. Another solid squad that looks like it's going to be a contender right now. Offensive depth looks pretty good especially at WR.

Twenty-Eight: Everyone's bustin on your RB's....but i see a squad here that has the potential to piss us all off week in and week out.....minus your QB's. Donovan just isn't reliable for 16 games and with Warner still breathing down Leinhart's neck....who knows what will happen in Arizona. Defense is a little thin but i'm not ready to cut your squad short just yet.

GOSKN5: Pretty strong defense....and overall depth on offense looks good. However, neither of those tightends impress me. Davis has been underwhelming thus far (not all his fault though), and while Alge will probably be Vince's go to guy in Tennessee.....he's getting older and more fragile every season.

ArmchairQB: I don't love or hate this squad. I like it's potential. I don't like Lee Evan's cuz i think he's an overated b*tch....but i do like your RB's except for Rudi Johnson. I think Rudi's done. That, and your team might be a little older than the average Dynasty team with Drew Brees, Steve Smith, Javon Walker and Rudi Johnson. But the rookie draft helps alleviate that problem.....so draft well in the rookie draft and your squad is as good as anyone's in the league.

Phoward: Young, young, young.....that pretty much sums up this squad minus a few older parts like Shaun Alexander. If those WR's work out for you....you're gonna be hell to deal with in the coming years.

Kuraitengai: I'm almost certain you're gonna need to grab a backup QB here sometime soon unless you plan on drafting a rookie. But your depth at defense is good, and you have some offensive studs. Another good team that should compete immediately for a top spot in the league.

The B&G: Don't love your QB's....i actually think Jason could arise as your guy out of that bunch. I think your RB's are kinda old and questionable...minus Larry Johnson who's a beast when healthy. I think you probably have the best depth at WR in the entire league....but i hope there's an amazing TE rookie prospect in your future because neither of those guys are getting any younger. Defense is solid....should be a competitor.

King: Decent depth at RB and WR.....but your defense is still a little thin. You have a nice core in Anderson, Barber, and Housh, and i like that. You have a fairly young team on offense, but you're a little older on defense. Still, a nice solid squad that should make some noise in the league. Your lack of rookie picks could come back to hurt you though if you run into problems and have to depend on the waiver wire. And it may not hurt this year as much as in the future which is why I see your team being a threat moreso down the line than in the immediate future.

Chuong: The only person in the world who knew Brett Favre was gonna retire 3 days before Brett Favre's wife knew. Your RB's certainly don't wow me, but your WR's do except for Reggie Williams. Owens is a decent tightend, if Heap comes back healthy he'll probably be a better option for you though. I think i like your defense more than i like your offense. You have a pretty even balance of young and older guys....so your team will probably be in the thick of things this year on your star power. However, the future could be rough on you if you don't draft well rookie wise.

TDR: The man who thinks he's gonna take us all to the house with all those rookie picks. I like how you've accumulated all those 1st Rounders.....but i think the 1st Round can be just as full of busts as it can be of stars. I'll be able to get a better idea of how you're gonna fair this year after you get some of that defense filled out....but based on your offense, your squad looks good right now. Call me crazy, but based on that offense i see TDR competing and being VERY difficult to beat RIGHT NOW. So if he does well in the future too....we could ALL be in trouble.

Me: I don't love or hate my team, but i'm happy with it. I'm thin at RB, but i could be fine if Westbrook and Parker stay healthy. I think i have a fairly well rounded team. I've tried to do a good job bringin in youthful guys who are also impactful right now....and i think i've found a pretty good blend of that in guys like Roethlisberger, Marshall, Winslow, and the New York Giants defense. I realize i may LOOK a little thin at WR...but i don't really think I am as much as everyone else thinks. I would have liked to have grabbed one more big name WR, but lets just see how Berrian does in Minnesota. He could be the kind of burner Tavaris needs. Mason has some ball left in him, and yeah i know he's old....but i picked him up purely because he's a #1 receiver still and my youth in the position lies with Marshall and whoever else i may draft. I have one draft pick in the 1st Round, 2 in the 2nd, and 3 in the 3rd. I like the later draft picks because i truely feel i can find some GOOD later round guys who probably won't be considered busts if they don't work out for me. I think my team can be competitive RIGHT NOW and depending on how i do in the rookie draft(s)....i think i can give each and every one of you fits for years to come.

Nice picks guys...I was thikning about Merriman and I've had ginn on my mind since the middle of this draft. Ginn is a beast...he had two or three kicks called back last year because of penalties.

wow...compliements from stosh. wasnt expecting that.

im going to be a kraft....minus the team cheating part.

if you were just nice to my team, id take the jones suggestion as an insult and challenge you to a duel...

yeah, wr is my weak link at the moment...but i still have a few tricks up my sleeve to remedy that.

im just hoping palmer has a season like last year, just without the 20 ints. that would fix a whole lot of things. and if he busts out another 6td game for like 60 fantasy points...that would be super.

and merriman was a great pick. at lb, he will be ok, but if you can play him at dl, since hes a olb/de in the 3-4. then he will be a stud there. same reasons i took ware so i could hopefully play him at both.
