you dont have to. if you just click the link that i had, or the one in my sig. and sign up. thats what helps the ES team. i get points for your signing up that i can use to better my character which betters the team since im the QB.

you dont need to get a contract with the ES team, especially if you arent going to be active. after you create, you will be offered 3 contracts, most likely by CPU teams. just sign with any of those.

Seahawks secure Pro Bowl LB Tatupu with $42M contract

KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Lofa Tatupu agreed to a $42 million contract with Seattle that will keep the Pro Bowl linebacker with the Seahawks through the 2015 season.

"This isn't just Good Friday. It's great Friday," Tatupu told Seahawks president Tim Ruskell upon finalizing the contract Friday.

"I'm going to end my career with the Seahawks."

The deal includes the final two years on the original contract he signed after being selected in the second round out of Southern California in 2005, plus six more years worth a potential $42 million.

Fletcher Smith, Tatupu's agent, said the deal includes about $18 million in guaranteed money from 2008 to 2010.

Tatupu was supposedly too slow and too short when he was the sixth linebacker taken in '05. Last season he became the second player in Seahawks' history to be named to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three years.

"I think I've exceeded a lot of people's expectations, but not my own," Tatupu said.

FELLAS, I know this is EXTREMELY short notice....but it's 9 AM right now. At 11:30 AM THIS MORNING, my fantasy baseball league on Yahoo is scheduled to have a live draft.

PLEASE tell me one of you wants to signup and play so that i don't have to push the draft back again. I'll check back here in a little while.

I'll go ahead and post the league signup info here and whoever signs up first can have the last spot. I really appreciate whoever steps up and grabs this. I've already postponed our draft once from last weekend, and with the season starting on Tuesday and tomorrow being Easter.....the only other time i can think to do it is on Monday evening.

hey Pho....if you don't mind your team being auto-drafted (as about half the league will probably be), you can still join. There's nothing going down today but the draft. I only anticipate 4 or 5...maybe 6 people will actually show up. So if you're just concerned about today, you can still signup and play.

i dunno....i hate watching it, i hate reading about it, i hate hearing about it...

i think i just outgrew it and it got too slow for me cuz i loved the orioles when i was growing up and i played in a bunch of little league stuff.

ill sign up for it to help you out if the team name and email can be changed later in case someone who actually likes the sport (and i use the word sport loosely ) wants to take over.
