Best value of the draft so far: Crabtree at 1.4.
Worst value of the draft so far: Stafford at 1.2.

dont know about crab at 4 being best value.

im thinking beanie at 6, since mccoy and brown went ahead of him. and he is supposedly the 2nd best RB in the class.

but stafford at 2 was the worst value. drop coulda flipped them, and stafford woulda been ok at 3, but then mccoy at 2 woulda been the worst value. lol

lol, you nerds and your draft value.

determining draft values before anyone plays a snap is like counting your chickens before they hatch. it's pointless. you don't know what you're gonna get. you can make assumptions and predictions, but you never know for sure.

hypothetically speaking, if stafford has a year this season that's anything similar to Matt Ryan's last year...then your "worst value" evaluation becomes nothing more than jumping the gun.....no?

Please, my team is loaded with talent. Like I said before, injuries killed my squad last year, not a lack of talent. I'm a shoe-in for Comeback Owner of the Year.

Which brings me to my next point: we should give out awards. Best Owner, Funniest Owner, MVP, Best Waiver Wire Pick-Up, etc. Anyone else think that'd be cool?

Crabtree should've gone 1.1 in ANY dynasty draft. 1.2 at the latest. He is by far the best player in the board.

I personally believe Stafford shouldn't have gone until the 2nd round.

It's not about playing a snap. You have to make your decision based on a player's talent level, because this whole thing is a crapshoot. Why take Stafford 1.2 when QBs have a high bust rate, you could easily have gotten him with your 2nd round pick, you could have gotten a starting RB, AND Stafford's production could be easily replaced with a platoon.

But then again, if Stafford winds up being the next Peyton, you'll look like a genius. But wouldn't you rather look like the genius who got a starting RB and picked up the next Peyton in the 2nd round?

Damn...2 guys I was eyeing were drafted.

Heading out for a few hours, so if we do get to my pick, I will make it later this evening.

I think I will be taking that guy the Skins picked...what's his name again? Orakapoo??

hmm. maybe. but i was just put off by the sliding on draft day. what, 10 teams? saw something they didnt like. granted dont really count the raiders cuz of old al, but still. but i had read some stuff about his foot deal.

i was never high on stafford either. so even if both had been there with the 9th pick, i would have still taken sanchez over stafford. so he could have been there in the 2nd for drop to take. lol
