Really want to pick right now. Gotta wait till morning for my trade options to come back. Then, I gets to off track brainstorming, you know, about FA. Anyways, this is what I came up with... It will require some work by two people but should be quick and even for all.

1- Everyone makes a list of their top FA pickups. It can be 10, 20 FA players long, whatever. It should be a set limit for all people, though.

2- This list is sent to a designated person who assigns each list a number according to that team.

3- A second person will generate at random the order for every team in each round.

4- Between the two people the FA process is kind of autodrafted. The twist in this is that is even for everyone because its at random per round.

I kind of like this idea. I was never a fan of the feeding frenzy we had last year. But we are trying to emulate the NFL.

Okay, I couldn't wait. Went ahead and drafted. I basically sat here all night and got super hy-ped up about Jared Cook. Didn't really see that coming. Maybe a position of need, but I dont think a reach, cause he has the most potential of all the TE's in fantasy terms imho.

Im really pleased w/ this draft but sad that it's over. If you guys wanna dump these late round picks in this shallow draft, holla at me.

Perhaps a comparison to Vernon Davis would be more appropriate.

not necessarily. its just all about how you set things up and the planning you do ahead of time. i was done with FA about 15 seconds in. got like 7 out of the 8 guys i was targeting. the rest of the time i was busy reordering rosters and moving people to the PS for you guys. and i was on a slow ass DSL connection then.

Yeah, I was the same way. I got basically whoever I wanted, but just because I got who wanted and you got who you wanted doesn't mean everyone else did the same. It doesn't seem like it's an even playing field.

Yeah, I agree with the pick. If nothing else, he should be a good WR3 when they run the wildcat/dog/hog/random animal.
