1- Everyone makes a list of their top FA pickups. It can be 10, 20 FA players long, whatever. It should be a set limit for all people, though.

2- This list is sent to a designated person who assigns each list a number according to that team.

3- A second person will generate at random the order for every team in each round.

4- Between the two people the FA process is kind of autodrafted. The twist in this is that is even for everyone because its at random per round.
I kind of like this idea. I was never a fan of the feeding frenzy we had last year. But we are trying to emulate the NFL.

Im really pleased w/ this draft but sad that it's over. If you guys wanna dump these late round picks in this shallow draft, holla at me.
Perhaps a comparison to Vernon Davis would be more appropriate.

i thought most of us were against the idea of turning FA into another draft.

And I actually got most of the FAs I wanted last year. I just think it's a crapshoot. At least the NFL has a bidding war so it evens the playing field...ours just caters to faster internet connections.

not necessarily. its just all about how you set things up and the planning you do ahead of time. i was done with FA about 15 seconds in. got like 7 out of the 8 guys i was targeting. the rest of the time i was busy reordering rosters and moving people to the PS for you guys. and i was on a slow ass DSL connection then.

i'm trying to acquire a 3rd round pick if anyone is interested...

is anyone else surprised no defensive players are off the board yet?

Yeah, I was the same way. I got basically whoever I wanted, but just because I got who wanted and you got who you wanted doesn't mean everyone else did the same. It doesn't seem like it's an even playing field.

Yeah, I agree with the pick. If nothing else, he should be a good WR3 when they run the wildcat/dog/hog/random animal.

    There has been a trade:

    f_trizzy receives:

    Fred Jackson
    Laron Landry
    3.6

    in exchange, Stosh receives:

    2.12
    3.7
    2010 2nd round pick
    DeAngelo Hall

huh, I still get a 3rd to mess with?.....I thought I was just dumping my third on you. I never keep up very well with what exactly I'm doing in these trades.

    um, yeah.....I confirm.

    anybody want the 3.6?

    pick forthcoming
