I actually think I am going to have a mediocre season.

First, I don't expect Brady to play lights out like he did 2 years ago. I think he comes back to earth and tosses 24-25 TD's...MAYBE 30.

Second, I'm weak at the WR position. I was prior to the trade...had AJ and no depth, then had Marshall and no depth...now I have nobody at all. That will hurt.

Everywhere else I feel I am okay (well, could use a better team defense)...but I think those two things will hurt me.

Hopefully my draft picks next year will improve the WR corp, or maybe I can deal picks for a WR...but I'll see how the season progresses before resorting to that...

Actually Brees led all QBs with 631.5 points. The 8th ranked guy was Cassel with 478.5 so yeah there is a pretty big difference.

I was referencing the number 1 qb in the respective draft. Brees wasn't the number1 qb to be taken. His ADP was around 3/4.

IIRC, the last time the number one qb taken ended up being the number 1 qb was back in the Peyton yrs.

If you do QB/WR on the turn you've put yourself behind the draft from there on out and you have to damn near hit on all your rB flyers and/or waiver wire.

Brady was the first QB to go in our league last year. He was a first round pick (by the eventual league champ ). I took Brees in the middle of the second round and he was the 2nd QB off the board.

That being said, I don't think I can go either WR-WR or QB-WR. I just have trouble justifying pushing off my RBs until the 30th and 31st picks.

I'll probably go RB with a WR like Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson and try to pair them with either Warner or Schaub respectively later on in the draft.

well I was the crazy guy that went QB WR in the first two rounds of this league selecting Brady and Wayne.... and I think my team suffered last year... I got lucky and picked Deangelo later in the draft and also drafted Forte in the rookie draft and they started to pay off later in the year and I started winning games.....

yeah, about 30 mins north of Sarasota. We went down to the Sarasota area actually. We checked out St. Armands Circle and Siesta Key.

Anna Maria is definitley a well kept secret.
