Alright guys, one more major piece on the block...Peyton Manning can be had for the right price. I admit, he's 32/33, but you can be pretty well assured that he'll put up solid numbers for another 4-5 years, and could very well put some lucky person over the top for a championship or three.
The asking price is admittedly somewhat steep. I'll need a young QB in return, an established starter in the Ryan, Flacco, Sanchez mold. I will also need a 1st round pick. If you don't have one, then a 2nd rounder and a 1st in 2011. The third piece would have to be a young project at another position. A good example of this would be someone like Robert Meachem or Donnie Avery, someone who has the potential to be good, has shown flashes, but you're just not sure if he'll ever get it.
If you can meet those three pieces (young established QB/pick/wildcard at other position) then please let me know.
