    I know a lot of Giants fans. I would never, I mean NEVER hear the end of it. Nightmare.

    I'm hoping for a tie after 4 quarters, then the stadium has to be evacuated because of some bogus terrorist threat. Then we discover some archaic rule in the NFL that states that the Super Bowl must be decided on the same day it started, and so the game goes down as a tie.

    It could happen. Right?

    Uh-oh.

    At a time when the Patriots were giving the Giants no bulletin board material -- and the Giants were foolishly giving the Pats plenty -- the 18-0 AFC champs have gone and done it.

    According to the New York Post, the Pats already have applied for federal trademarks on the terms "19-0" and "19-0 The Perfect Season."

    In response, the Post applied on Thursday for the rights to "18-1."
