Default Potomac Primaries - One Day to Go

What's the word on the ground regarding excitement on Obama vs. Clinton? Looks like she's slipping away (multiple losses, changing campaign manager).

I know most of you are focused on the Repubs, but if anyone in the DC area can give me a read on this, it would be awesome.

    Thanks.

It's looking very likely that Obama will sweep the primaries tomorrow and that Hillary may not win another primary this month.

She isn't done however because she will most likely be favored in the Texas and Pennsylvania primaries . . . with a lot of delegates at stake.

In short, this is most likely going to the convention and will be decided there.

    Brutal.

I don't think its good for the party to have this thing decided at the convention.

So, does that mean Ohio and Wisconsin are looking good for Obama?

Also, I heard somewhere that Obama might actually raise $30 million this month! That sounds unreal to me.

Probably more than that. I contributed last month and he made like $34 million in January alone.

Yeah, but for him to approach that in successive months is very impressive.

What people aren't saying is how the way a candidate runs a campaign might serve as a good proxy for how they will manage as President. That shouldn't be taken lightly.

Clinton's campaign has been a **** show for the last several months and Obama has looked like a well-oiled machine.

That's it. You can't elect someone who'll spend all his time destroying the nations' marriages with his flirting.

    The board.

Although a lot of folks in the more rural counties around DC are very conservative.

All I know is on the radio and TV all you see is Obama adds there are hardly any clinton adds on the air.

    Obama should win.

I think Hillary has basically conceded DC and MD and is just hoping to keep VA respectable if she can't pull out an upset win.

With her campaign finances running a lot thinner than Obama she is probably going to start focusing her money on the bigger states coming up in March.

I voted for Ron Paul! I feel like a real American!

    You, too, should try it!

I stood outside greeting my precinct but EVERY one was voting democrat. EVERYONE. From about 7 to 9, bout 50 people. Not one Republican.
