    Default Raiders make Tommy Kelly highest paid DT in the NFL

    Kelly, a defensive end scheduled to move to defensive tackle this season, signed a seven-year, $50.5 million contract Thursday that has $18.125 million in guarantees. In the first three years of the deal, he will make $25.125 million.

    Thats ridiculous. But it was predicted by Vinny that there were going to be some astronomical contracts.

    Tommy Kelly is good but he's not that great. But I guess thats why the Raiders haven't been able to win over 5 games the last 5 years. A Commitment to sucking.

    Its going to be interesting to see how much money the Raiders give Chris Clemons the former Redskin, who had 8 sacks for them last year.

    Unbelievable. Usually a player makes an awful decision by not seeing what's out there on the open market, but this time the team overpaid to keep their player from looking around.

    Just playing around in my head, I'd have a hard time getting him into my top 10 DT ranking. I guess the Skins should draft a DT because these prices on the FA market will be ridiculous.

    And to think, that guy was undrafted.

    honestly, I have not heard the name 'Tommy Kelly' in well over a year. I didn't even know this guy was any good. Al has officially lost his mind.

    Does this set the market for D-linemen? Or does it not count because the Raiders are an embarrassment?
