Based on several other threads, there are alot of Dog lovers among us.. I figured we need a place to show are "babies"...
Here's mine:
Cody on the left and Murphy on the right, 10 and 2 respectively.
They are English Springer Spaniels.

CounterTre.....
I can't say enough how I feel for you. I had to put Cody's mother Chelsea down 2 years ago... That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. Someone sent me a card with the following poem inside at the time:
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I just got this pc not long ago and don't have pics of our babies on here yet. As soon as I do I will post them.
This is my baby girl "Nika" and I will have to find a good pic of "Awgust" later.
HTTR!!
Well, here's Awgust when he was a puppy. Black dogs are so hard to capture on film!!
HTTR!!
Great pics, Awgustlab! I still love the one you posted months ago of one of your dogs looking up at you with a cocked head. Who hasn't had a puppy do that with them?![]()
Beautiful Awgust!!

Champ.
Champ looks like a mix, German Shepherd and Collie perhaps? Good looking dog.
He's a mix alright.
We know he's got GSD and chow. We suspect a bit of husky. We got him from a shelter, just last November. He was a handful at first since he had apparently been on his own for a long time (his collar had grown into his neck and had to be surgically removed), but a firm hand and lots of love have really made a difference. He's a great dog.
That's awsome that you rescued him.. I have nothing but respect for you...Originally posted by Soliloquy
