We've got another dog, a 12yo Jack Russell, but I don't have any pics of her on this laptop.

Dancer at 7 months.jpg I love my dog, Dancer. I hadn't had a dog for more than 22 years. She's a love! BTW, this was taken at my brother's house the day of the Redskins/Colts preseason game. I like to think that there's a Cowboy star underneath her. And yes, she's butch and lifts her leg when she pees.

Here's our GSD, very pleased with himself.

Probably because he just ate another bug.

Great stuff you guys!! I had a sheltie named Geoffrey for about a year and got to be too much of a handful and didnt have the room for him to run like he needed and with my work schedule wasnt able to spend as much time with him as I would have liked. But a friend of mine who breeds Shelties has a huge piece of land and we let them adopt him and last we checked up on him he had turned into a great dog. He was always friendly but very hyper due to not being able to properly exercise him. I miss him sometimes but a dog like that is alot of responsibility. Will do more research next time we get another dog. Which leads me to my question. Anyone have any suggestions for a breed that will be good with kids (expecting our first born in December) and doesnt require as much exercise as other breeds? I dont much care for little dogs so something medium sized would be ideal. We always had dogs growing up and def want my kid to have a dog companion, just want to get the right kind of dog.

Daisy Mae, another former dog-fighting dog who cuddles with the elderly and frail, and even allows small children to hold her tight when they are undergoing painful medical procedures. ♥

Great looking dog and good on you on the rescue.

If you buy an animal, you don't love animals.

What if you buy one to remove it from a bad owner?
Do you then love them more?

If you're encouraging them to keep breeding, no.
