Thread: Malcolm Kelly interview on ESPN News

Why would we need any WR's?

Just because we had a whopping 4 TD's from our #1/#2 WR's last year doesn't mean we need help there.

Just because we didn't score a TD by a WR until week 10 couldn't mean that was an area of need, could it?

What a disgraceful wasted pick. Denver fan probably feels better about drafting Clarett after hearing this one...

This is why I like Kelly:

I think he's itching to prove everyone wrong. He's itching to make 31 other teams pay. This offense could potentially cause some serious match-up problems with Davis, Thomas and Kelly added.

He's a kid who had a bad day and made one stupid comment, then apologized. What's your excuse?

I've been following OU football for the last 3 years (my girlfriend is an OU grad) and not one negative word was ever said about his character, until his pro day. He'll learn from this. As for his knees, do you honestly think our FO didn't do their research?

Regarding Malcolm Kelly, the only thing that really troubles me is the issue of his knees. As for what he said on his pro-day, I couldn't really care, unless this was a pattern of outbursts where he blamed others for his failures. Since there isn't anything to suggest that this is what he does on a regular basis, I will dismiss his pro day lapse as frustation. In the meantime, should he make the final roster (which I believe he will), he has to prove himself just like every other player here.

This reminds me so much of people's reactions to us drafting LaRon Landry. People were like whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy??????????? Yeah, well, life has an odd way of transpiring sometimes. I think the kid has proven his worth for a rookie. I am hoping that D.T., Kelly, and Davis will have equal or greater impact on this team this year.

The best of luck to them.

Can someone fill me in on the knee issue? Because it seems to me that someone came out with a report about him having a knee condition and then all the sudden everyone decided he's going to suck and be injured all the time. Wasn't this problem ongoing last year while he was burning fools and grabbing ridiculous catches at Oklahoma? He had the highest avg yards per catch last year! It doesn't seem to be affecting his play so who cares!

I would like to know this as well.

From what I recall a report came out about his degenerative knee condition, to which his agent/lawyer sent a letter to all the teams denying the report.

I know he had surgery to remove some cartilage... I think after his sophomore year.

Any information on the subject would be appreciated.
    Let's go deep.
