Everybody is trying to grade this years draft but we really have no idea how any of these guys will fit in or who will even make the team but we do know a lot about the past two drafts the skins had so why not grade them. Feel free to look up other players we could have gotten instead to and how they faired

2007 - Washington Redskins

1 6 LaRon Landry SS Louisiana State- Similar to Fred Davis pick this year many felt that two Safeties was a luxury we couldn't afford. A lot of people wanted DT Amobi Okoye he ended up having 5.5 sacks which is great for a DT and he was a rookie. Dirty 30 had two picks in the wild card round of the playoffs to nearly give the Skins a win and he was a living highlight reel he has many pro-bowls in his future.

5 143 Dallas Sartz LB USC- CUT I believe

6 179 H.B. Blades LB Pittsburgh- He played in a few games this year when Rocky went down and did a really good job as well as help out on special teams.

6 205 Jordan Palmer QB Texas-El Paso-With Bengals

7 216 Tyler Ecker TE Michigan- Practice Squad/Roster

Undrafted Stephon Heyer OT Maryland- He was worth picking up Bugel showed why he is so great. Heyer started five games and the playoffs, even though he got exposed in the playoffs he was amazing up to then. All the playoffs helped us realize is that he needs to get stronger but right now he is our third OT and he is going to be great depth this season if either Samuels or Jansen goes down. It will be really interesting to see where his career goes but it has already started off with a bang.

2006 - Washington Redskins

2 35 Rocky McIntosh LB Miami (Fla.)-He was amazing starting the beginning of last season they said he had knee issue before we drafted him and they showed up at the end of last season. He will be healthy again next year and he brings the youth to our LB core.

5 153 Anthony Montgomery DT Minnesota- Everyone clamored for a Dlineman and we got him. A lot of people didn't expect much for him or Golston because they were late picks. Fans felt we didn't really address the need and still believe we have issues on the Dline but Golston and Montgomery have far exceed expectations with both having started numerous games next to Griffin and they will be going in their 3rd year so they can still get better. If you’re looking the positive on the Defensive line look no further than these two.

6 173 Reed Doughty DB Northern Colorado- When I first saw him play in that Dallas game last year I was calling for his head, but ever since than I have been nothing short of amazed he stepped in during the most darkest time in Skins history. A lot of people give credit to Todd Collins for our playoff run but Reed deserves a lot of credit because even though he wasn't out there making amazing plays like Landry he didn't make any mistakes that cost the defense and you could tell on every play he gave his all. He is the projected starter next year so there will be great things out of him.

6 196 Kedric Golston DT Georgia- See Montgomery

7 230 Kili Lefotu G Arizona- Had the health issue during training camp.

7 250 Kevin Simon LB Tennessee-Believe he was on the practice squad.
