Capt Kaos, I appreciate your drink and think your labels kick ass and I would definitely drink one if I was at a tailgate and you offered it to me, but I had to vote yes, that little voice inside wouldn't let me lie.

Alcoholic cider in the UK is not girly so much as a cheap way to get smashed - popular with the youth who haven't developed a taste for beer and also traditional in the rural west country (the English rednecks).

I brew my own. At the moment I have about 6 gallons ready to bottle.

My husband likes it. He drinks it in the summer a lot and then sometimes he drinks black velvatines which is half Guinness and half cider

i make my own hard cider as well and such I control the amount of sweetness it will have. I dont like commercial ciders because, to me, they are too sweet. One of my house ciders is called Rocket Fuel becuase it is close to 10% ABV and bone dry.

I personally wouldn't buy it. Not the fact that I believe its girly because I believe in however you want to drink or get drunk is really on you.

But that taste is honestly just too much for me. I usually but it for the girls, but I won't make fun of anyone if thats what they like. I'm personally a beer guy myself, but more power too you if thats waht you like.

Now brewing your own is cool.
