Mark The Homer, the seller finally responded to my request for a picture of the "redskins" on the chest by telling me that there are no more pictures available and then said he bought it directly from the redskins. He may be a very busy guy but i found it some what fishy that he cant provide more pictures, not even just one. The price is right for the jersey, but im not sure if i should take the risk even though im almost certain its legit.

I hope Nike doesn't completely revamp the Redskins jersey. I don't want to look at some NCAA cartoonish crap.

Nike can't just remake the design of the jersey without approval from the teams and NFL. The fans of the NFL are too traditional and this will never happen. Maybe in 20 years. I have read not much will change, just some of the sewing. It won't really be noticeable.

I agree with Yeen. It's probably legit. I'd say 95% chance it's legit. Even if it isn't, who cares? It looks good enough. There are no obvious problems with it. If it was actually a counterfeit, they'd have counterfeited the NFL logo correctly, right?

Besides, this is not really a collector's item. It's not like you're buying the Sean Taylor Superman gamer.

Really appreciate the help mark, Highplainsdrifter and yeen80. Alot of evidence in the pictures that its more legit than fake. I bought the jersey and awaiting its arrival. Ill post pictures up soon along with my other recent and soon to be recent purchases. If i could get the expertise one more time for the jersey below that i am looking to buy. any help confirming its legit or fake will be very appreciated.

As well as the official redskins store. All the authentics are marked down to 169.95. I bought another brian orakpo when the redskins released the fan appreciation sale. My grand total for the home orakpo authentic was $137. didnt hurt the wallet one bit.

I have a feeling the prices will continue to drop until they no longer sell Reebok jerseys in April. Don't wait too long if you are wanting a specific jersey, because once they run out - they run out...they will not be making any new reebok jerseys...

Alright guys, i bought the portis jersey and shortly after found a local seller looking to get rid of their sean taylor jersey. I now have both in my possession and i took a good amount of pictures to basically find out for the sake of being 1000% sure that the jerseys are indeed authentics. Only way i can take out any doubts about the jerseys. I ask the wonderful people in this thread to help me determine if these jerseys are indeed authentic and possibly educate me in exactly what i have. First up is the clinton portis jersey i bought on ebay.
















Next up is the Sean taylor jersey. bought it from a local seller that claimed it was a gift. The taylor is not brand new and is used. Looks like its been washed a time or two.













Now i compared both jerseys my self. There were slight differences between both. The burgundy on the "redskins" and the reebok logos on the sean taylor are a bit more darker than the clinton portis jersey. The jocktag of the sean taylor jersey is less wide and less height than the portis jersey. The jersey material of the sean taylor jersey throughout the body is a shinier material than the dull white the clinton portis has. The clinton portis jersey is a tad wider and longer than the sean taylor jersey. The biggest difference would be the neck tag between the both, both reebok tags are noticeably different. The pictures below compare the other differences not seen in the pictures above. If both jerseys are authentic, is it possible that they were both from different years?. For example could the sean taylor be an authentic between 04-06? since the portis authentic seems a bit more updated. More simply if someone could educate me in what years both jerseys could possibly have been bought in. and of course if both are authentic. I hope these are enough pictures to be able to distinguish its status. Any help will be appreciated.
