I tell ya, it's just not fair.
I will tell you that I think that fair is rarely fair. For example, I think it is fair that some disabled kids get handicapped ramps, special parking places, and more time on tests or other accomodations that other kids do not. Fairness can be imbalanced. I do think that giving abled kids (15 and under) calculators is a huge mistake, but allowing kids with a math disability to use a calculator is wise.
