I am playing FFXII right now and dragging it out as long as I can. I think that I liked FFX over FFXII.

FFX was amazing IMO.

Also, I don't really like the way the battles are done in FFXII.

I hated the FF XII battles. I actually returned the game a week after I bought it cause of the battle system.

FF has been on a serious decline since FFVIII imo, I couldn't even be bothered to play through XII and I'm a major RPG nerd who probably played the majority of the RPG's released on SNES, playstation and playstation 2.

The connection to the characters have just been lost and they seem to have focused more on designing cool (as in long, boring and pointless) movie sequences and the pacing the plot is just horrendous. And if I wanted to fight in some quasi-realtime system on big fields I could just play some crappy MMORPG. Not to get started on the main characters.

i really wish they would remake FF VII.

If this is true though that FF XIII will only be for the 360, that would be interesting. Sony has gotten soo much money due to that series. Plus it seems due to the blu-ray capability, PS3 would be the better option.

It appears that its a multi-platform release, something that was on-again off-again for a few years. Square would be looking to increase their profits by releasing onto multiple systems, not decreasing it by releasing exclusively to an inferior system.
