keeper league help

alright folks, i'm in year 3 of a keeper league we're keeping 3 players this year... right now i have: Tom Brady in the 3rd round and LT in the 1st round.

So my question is, who do i keep out of:

Vincent Jackson 15th round
Nick Folk 20th round
New England defense 15th round

any help would be greatly appreciated...

I think Vincent Jackson is going to be amazing this season. He finished last year (including the postseason) very strong. However getting the Pats D in the 15th round is pretty good value.

I would want to keep Vincent Jackson but I probably would end up keeping the Pats simply because of the depth at the WR position.

I'd also keep the Patriots D and hope that they can make up for their losses in the secondary. If the offense keeps producing like last year they should be top five.

And I'm really confused about how a keeper league works. Are there no better players to keep than those three?

its all about value... i could keep Cooley in the 5th, but that wouldn't be nearly the steal that Patriots D in the 15th would be.

Pfft...with LT and Tom Brady does it really matter who else you are keeping? Those 2 alone should be able to beat 90% of the teams in your league

I would keep Jackson.

Defenses and kickers are a dime a dozen. Both fluctuate too much from year-to-year for me to consider keeping one of them. I would hang on to the WR from a powerful offense over a Kicker and D.

I'd keep Jackson. He's better 15th round value than any defense if he plays up to his potential. (His ADP is around 70-80 right now, whereas even a good D like the Pats should be available in the 10th or later.)

That said, I've never played a keeper league, so I don't know how drafts may be different in those leagues.

I definitely wouldn't keep a kicker.
