Default Mark it down. Today, August 6th, 2008, the Favre saga ends

Everybody can breathe a sigh of relief.

    Favre is going to Tampa.

    It's over, it's all over!!!!

    Party in the Tailgate!

EDIT: Favre has ended up with the Jets.

You really think it's over? I got 5 bucks says he retires next year and then gives Tamp a headache. This is far from over. Until he is out of the league and not a commentator on TV, the Favre will not be stopped.

P.S. This concludes this special Favre debacle, now back to Cowboys leg humping, 24/7.

    Thank the Good Lord.

I'll chant the same thing I did when Monk was inducted Saturday....

    "It's about time!"
    "It's about time!"
    "It's about time!"

Having made post #4 in this thread, let me just say, Hey Brett.....no one cares.

I wish ESPN and NFL Network would stop being stupid and pick up this story.

Over? Green Bay plays at Tampa in week. Can old Brett get up to speed?

It wouldn't shock me to see Jeff Garcia do well with his team and the Bucs miss the playoffs. They trade Jeff yet?

You know the ultimate irony would be this:

    1. Aaron really sucks and the Pack finish 6-10 or worse.
    2. Brett can really do much for Tampa this year they finish at best 8-8 and miss playoffs.
    3. Tampa trades Jeff Garcia to the Vikings, who then go on to the superbowl.

I find your lack of faith in the force disturbing.
