and they're all voting for Bama? Just because someone's in college does not mean they're voting for him.

I think that McCain is going to win by 8 million votes overall out of 120.
I think he will also win every single state above.
    Michigan will be close.

You're dreaming, Thiebear. I'm hoping Obama can win all those states. I'm also hoping Obama wins at least 300 electoral votes.

I think the idea is that an overwhelming majority of college students are Obama supporters. I can't speak to whether that is the case in VA specifically.

With 500 million+ Obama can invest in the ground game to get out the vote. Whether it does or not remains to be seen.

I have gotten called by Obama's campaign at least 3 or 4 times and have told them to **** off.

I got the idea, but I don't know about "overwhelming majority". The "overwhelming majority" of college students won't vote at all, as much as people think this election will bring TONS of new voters. Black people aren't going to come out in droves to vote for him just because he's black. College students aren't going to come out in droves to vote for him just because it's the "cool" thing to do. Diddy and his "vote or die" campaign and all the celebrities vying for that "bama" won't make a difference as they didn't make a difference 4 years ago.

I disagree about black voters. He got the nomination in part because of the black vote tipping the balance in key states to him. There will be record turnout among blacks simply because they can vote a black man for president.

I think that the problem with your prediction has to do with your signature, TB. Even you are disaffected by McCain and pulling away from him. Many are grudgingly standing behind McCain. If proud conservatives are touting Barr, but loony leftists are still rallying to Obama that doesn't bode will for John. I think his support is tepid.

In effect, right now, he is running Kerry's campaign with two exceptions. One: he's a lot better at mud flinging and 2: Instead of "Anybody, but Bush" his stance is "Anybody, but Obama"

Yeah, because people were just as excited about John Kerry as they are for Barack.

We hear this every 4 years and it never happens. Sorry but the youth won't show up.

As for the black vote it is completely horrible in my eyes. Why would I say that? If every White person voted for McCain simply because hes white like a lot of the black voters have admitted to on the talk radio I listen to then McCain wins in a landslide. Voting for a man or woman because he is a certain color makes me want to puke. And these people who are doing that should be ashamed.

I can't wait for this crap to be over

Every recent election we hear about an expected high turnout by young voters.

But it never seems to happen.
