Default So, after having watched football all day Sunday, were any of you envyous...

of other teams and fans around the league?

You know what I mean. You are sitting there watching a teams offense drive down the field with such confidence and surgical precission, that the question isn't whether or not they are going to score. The question is, how are they going to score? Pass or run?

Although I know that what our team is doing is eventually going to pay off in the long run, I can't help but ask myself; just how long is this run going to be?(weak joke)

I can remember feeling like this for quite a bit of seasons now. The only times that we have ever seem to ressemble these other juggernaut type of offenses, have been in times of extreme desperation.

Here's to the days when we can kick back and not ask ourselves if we are going to score, but rather how we are going to score.

In recent years I've looked at the city of Boston and asked myself what must it be like. But hell, I don't dwell on that too much, it might depress me

I wasn't jelous of the Rams, thats for sure.

Listen, we havn't beent he best offense in the league in forever. I've never been that confident about our offense like I see others worth being envious of in many many years. So there will always be that feeling of wanting to be where other teams like the Patriots(with Brady) are at. Thats the goal.

    We played one bad game.

Envious? Nah. I save my envy for things that truly matter.

But wishing the Skins would one day be good? Check.

I was envious that they got to wake up to a FULL football Sunday. I like when the Skins play on Sundays!
"Washington strolled to the NFC championship, outscoring their two playoff opponents by a combined total of 48 points. Their domination was more than impressive, it was historic. The 1991 Redskins boasted the largest average margin of victory among all Super Bowl champions."

Whats funny is, I was all about playing on Thursday. But when Sunday came, I missed watching them play. The only good thing is I could watch all the other games without worrying about the Redskins and see how my fatasy team is doing and how or rivals are looking.

I just kept thinking to myself, boy are we in for a long season. dallASS, Filthy and the giants all looked good and we looked putrid. All 3 teams have a competent, franchise QB. We still have a QB who can't seem to learn the basic fundamentals of his position.
Like I said, it's going to be a long season.

Yep, 1 bad game. And the entire DC area is flipping out. I know 1 season ticket holder that said he isn't going to anymore games. I told him to give the tickets too me. He said no. I told him to stfu then!!!!!
Things will get better. But I have never seen our fan base like this.

Those teams that were rolling on sunday will struggle, everybody does in this league. No need to be such a downer.

I've been doing the for years now

Oh what it would be like to have an owner that knew what he was doing. Or a real GM

What ever happend to the Hogs? We haven't addressed the lines for years, and just now poeple are starting to wonder why we suck

I watched, and it pains me to say it, Dallas' line handle Clevland. TheGiants line handled us, Philly's line did good

See the common theme here? Teams that beat people asses have dominant lines

Not fair that Philly can take 3 guys off the streets to play wide receiver and beat the *&&^* out of some team if McNabb is healthy.

Everyone tries to make football more complicated than it is. If you have dominant lines, you will dominate, no matter who your skill players are. It's amazing to me that skins fans of all people don't get this. Why were we able to win Super Bowls with Mark Ripen and Doug Williams and Timmy Smith and Ricky Erwins? The OFFENSIVE LINE was dominant.

That's why, despite the denials, I still think the danny was interfering with Gibbs. Gibbs understood the dominant line concept his first go around. Hell, he damn near invented it. And yet this time, he almost completely ignored the lines

It will indeed be a long season
