    Default Halloween Pranks

So its officially my favorite time of year. Redskins football, halloween coming up, and haunted houses are starting to open up. I know i have had alot of halloween pranks pulled on me through the years some that were pretty good. Im sure some of you out there have done some good ones, or had one done to you. So lets hear them.

I'll start it off. I have a fear of clowns, and my uncles knows that very well and loves to torment me about it. So one year when i was younger we had been out and about at some haunted trails and haunted houses and i was taking a shower getting ready for bed, and all of a sudden the lights go out. Needless to say I was terrified after going through haunted houses all night. So i jump out the shower scared to death and somehow my uncle had a clown mask i didnt know about and hid around the corner with a flashlight and scared the crap out of me when i walked around. I didnt talk to him for a week or so and didnt sleep very well for awhile either. I was mad for along time but as i get older i laugh about it more and more.

So lets hear your halloween stories.

My daughter is only 5. She got the snot scared out of her a few month back when her stupid daddy took her to the haunted house in disney land. Oh man did the ghosts scare her. Just when I thought it was going to be all over came the very end... where they put a ghost in the buggy with you and say he's going to follow you home... night mare!!!!...

Anyway every year for holloween I dress up the house. I usually do a fog and laser show.... I bounce a laser through the fog and it looks like a string, I bounce the lasier off of small mirrors and create a grid like effect which freaks out my little visitors...

This year to show my daughter how disney does their ghost effects, and so she won't be so scared; We're going to be incorporating a few transparant ghosts into our show.

The theatrical ghost effect which Disney uses is called Pepers ghost; and it works on the same principle as a glare on your car windshield works. I've already moddled my effect and I'm going to start building it this weekend. My budget is 100$. For that I'm buying a sheet of plexi glass ( 50$) a light source, and some wood to make a frame for the plexiglass.

I love scaring the crap out of the neighborhood kids at halloween. One of my favorites is so simple that you wouldn't believe how well it works. We have large planters on either side of our front door. I set up a remote controlled sound effects box inside one of the planters. When the kiddies show up, I walk by the window next to our door so they can see I'm a normal person without a mask...nothing going on there, right? I then quickly put on a really scary mask and pull up my hoody. As I open the door, I hit the remote controlled noisemaker which scares them a bit but most importantly gets them to look away from the door. When they turn back around I'm literally inches away from their little faces with my scary mask and a piercing scream. --> Cleanup, aisle three! Hifreakin' larious!!

The haunted sounds (screams, rattling chains, cackling) coming from our bushes does enough to scare most. Once you add visual effects you loose just about all the trick or treaters.

I'd like to do a lot more but it would be wasted on the youth of today and their parents.

Haha!! I live in an apartment so i dont have a yard. Feel free to TP the yard though cause i wont have to clean it up lol.

Have you been to the Campground Massacre haunted trail in Tega Cay? I went last year and it was pretty good. Will probably hit that up this weekend.
