How should society view a cure for a ailment of limited duration that takes another's life to 'cure'?

Want to change any set of policies? Start small and that's what hemp has been, at least the marketing behind it. A beginning step. Not to say hemp isn't good stuff but it's strange that the medical side of it is taking root, where clearly the medicine still gets you high, and here to stay while the outcry for hemp hasn't produced a similar result. Not as much money obviously.
Also, I believe prairie bio-mass (what should naturally be on most of that land we pay to grow nothing on) is one of the best sources of bio-mass for fuel production. It's doesn't require water, from us at least. No more buffalo to eat it every year so it's all ours.
And as if there needed to be a better argument for reverting to nature there will be more pheasants in natural prairie than a hemp field.![]()
We called this ditch weed it was worthless for recreational use. It use to grow wild in northern md and wv and Shenandoah valley. They use to grow it during the war for ropes and other things.
It the 60's there was a underground magazine that told you where to go to find it. They also warned it was useless to smoke unless you tried to make hash of it. Same magazine tole about a small blue mushroom that only grew on horse dung. A friend used to go to the riding stables and pick them and eat/cook them. He also made hash out of ditch weed. Rule of thumb never eat or drink anything he offered you becasue it was no telling what it was
they should legalized all hemp for industrial and medical uses. It is 10000 times safer than alcohol as a recreational drug
