I think Kurt Sutter is doing a good job as an actor on the show as well.

Unless there is more of a story to come, it just seemed like they picked a random non-important patched member to kill just to make the encounter more memorable. Kozik was one of those guys that just randomly popped up for a single episode plot then vanished again for a while. Even the other members reactions back at the club...Tig asked about him and they just said he was dead before he knew it and the conversation moved on.

It just seemed totally random to kill him like that, seriously after the mine went off I shook my head and said, "OMG I think they just killed Kozik!". And then his arm landed on Juice!![]()
lol...I just read Sutter's twitter. (I avoid reading it between when a new episode airs and when I watch it...spoilers and such)
I just got the joke that they killed Kenny.
Kurt Sutter on twitter : "There's an outtake where Kenny yells, "Shane" before he blows up. It was an ironic, out-of-nowhere death. No build-up, no story, just dead." and "No one caught the south park irony either? Oh my god, Kenny's dead. Again. C'mon people keep up. I do this **** to keep you entertained."

Not to get too off topic, but the worst irony of all is that Sutter killed off Kenny Johnson's character so he could work full time on Prime Suspect on NBC. The day the episode of SOA aired where he dies....NBC cancelled Prime Suspect.

That's an unlucky turn of events. Hope he finds something and he shamed me by pointing out the instantaneous, no lead up death ala South Park. Made me think of Bruce Campbell and liking your audience while not taking yourself too seriously. Good karma will return to him IMO.

Well, that just happened.
Man I really hate that we have to wait another week to get started on the season finale.
DC Sports: The Curse Is Real
Well....I guess Clay doesn't make it out of the season. Once Jax pulled the gun on Opie I knew that either Clay was dead or Opie was going to kill himself. I was never so glad to hear two gunshots, but I honestly thought that Tig was going to shoot Opie finding his loyalty truly with Clay. That was a crazy episode bu they still have to deal with the cartel who is going to go after Tara. I can't believe that Juice has gone full snitch and that Otto went through with his testimony against SAMCRO.
Bobby in custody
Clay dead
Juice in custody
Piney dead
Kozik dead
Crap who is left?!
Jax
Chibs
Tig
Opie
and the prospects?! That's crazy!
All in all another awesome episode,

Yes
Yes it did......
I honestly don't know where they go after all of this nor who makes it out alive!
I got to say Clay got what has been coming for along time. However, I think he lives. One shot was in the shoulder and the other in the gut. The last clip is Jax yelling get him an ambulance and the Club is going to put the shooting on the Niners.
Yeah, Clay is going to make it. I have been thinking this would be the last season of the show the way everything was setting up to finish. Then my wife pointed out that they said a 2 part "season" finale, not "series" finale. So we have that going for us.
Most fans wish their team had the first pick in the draft each year. I would be happy with the 32nd.

The show has been picked up for a 5th season. So, I don't know.
The Bobby/Otto story will evolve more.
Jax won't be able to get out I'm sure.
Charming Heights? I still wouldn't be on it.
Poor Juice, he is seriously F'd up.
This may be crazy, but I'm thinking that Gemma may go after Opie for shooting Clay (and I don't think Clay is dead). Gemma talked at the beginning about protecting her family, and then after the "moment" they shared at the hospital, I think she will. It's sort-of like, "He can abuse me, but if anyone screws with him, I'll go after them."
Maybe that's ridiculous, but just my thoughts.

Yeah, Opie has terrible aim-(not that I could have done any better)
I definitely don't think that Clay is dead.
Mainly because in the commercial for next week, it didn't seem like he was dead.
And I see his death being a lot more fulfilling to the loyal viewers than just taking two quick shots from Opie (like Jax finally stepping up and getting revenge for his father's murder).
