it was kind of like the last few min in Godfather back at the house where you see people kissing his hand.
Jax taking over the club....Tara taking Gemma's spot......etc.
Now what does Clay do? Go Nomad? Try to poach off members to fight Jax?

Last night was all about setting the stage for next year.
Otto flipped
Clay a pawn...Clay's fight
Gemma with the letters again (but my guess is that Jax has copies...he's not stupid)
Gemma hiding the truth about the other letters, and trying to keep Tara from telling Jax.
Tara's hold on Jax...and rise to matriarch
Jax working between the Irish and the CIA
Jax's battle with Clay
Jax earning Opie's trust back
Tig's resentment and his loyalty to Clay
War with Oakland
The next two seasons are going to be epic! In one way I can't wait to see Jax as undisputed President riding off leading his club into the sunset with all of this war and nonsense behind him and his father's vision for the club ahead of him! How we get there though is going to be awesome.

He will most definitely play on Tig's guilt to try this, because we ALL know he's not just going to sit back and be Jax's lap dog.
I could totally see the way things have gone and the characters involved, that SoA might turn out to live in the same universe as The Shield. For example, where else would Acaveda wind up except helping the CIA with cartel politics? In Jail? I think not, it's such a natural fit considering they're off to O-town next season to battle with a gang from that shield universe. I love it, The Shield was one of my favorite shows anyway and if they can bring back Mackey, in any form whatsoever, they should. It could go on by virtue of continuing new shows after Samcro has its run. This could wind up being epic in a lot of ways, or at least I can indulge myself in hoping so.
Right you are. I guess I should thank you. Still be cool to see Michael Chiklis though!
I was kind of disappointed in the season finale, but I understand it had to be done that way to keep the show going. I will say next season will be interesting with the fact that Tig killed the daughter of the deadliest gangster in Oakland. That show down should be epic.
Interview with Kurt Sutter on the finale, good read:

Sutter tweeted this a couple hours ago, it's the 20th Century Fox holiday video card. Each year some of the execs do a skit with a different Fox show. This year is Sons of Anarchy, pretty funny.

I just finished watching Season 1....and I am hooked. Love, love, love this show.

Yeah, like you, I loved the Shield. It's probably the only reason I even started watching SOA.
I hope this happens, because otherwise I'm left feeling pretty dissapointed with the pace and content of this show. The last season wasn't bad, but it just took entirely too long to get there. Its like the Shield with far less likable characters mixed with a badly paced soap opera.
I thought it had some promise, but among shows that feature Shield alumni, I've come to prefer Justified by a pretty wide margin.
Meh, to each their own.

Possible side effects may include itchy retinas, congestion, lack of death, and runny genitals. Ask your personal physician about food interactions, as these may be lethal in time.
Consult a doctor if you grow a tail that doesn't fall off in the first 48 hours. Tails may be a sign of diabetes in older men, so use caution around sugar.
