Thread: Sons of Anarchy -contains spoilers

Just finished season 2. I didn't like the ending. Major spoilers (for season 2) below in ninja:

I hated how they left Zobell to go free. And I was mad that agent Stahl set up Gemma...can she ever have a heart? She could have made the double homicide look like a murder suicide. Or a lover's quarrel. Or SOMETHING other than framing Gemma on both murders.

I also hate how Tara just sat there like a wimp when the irish dude was sticking a knife into half sack and took the baby. She could have taken another knife, grabbed dude's gun, or something else in that situation.

Also, when Tara was on the phone with Jax and Jax found out that something was wrong (when he heard Irish dude in the background), why didn't he call Hale or somebody closer to the home to go check it out rather than drive all the way back himself?

Anyway....I liked season 1 better. But I like all the loose ends being tied up in the end, and that certainly didn't happen here.

However, the scene when Gemma finally told Clay and Jax she had been attacked and raped was fantastic...I felt a lot of that emotion.

Also, my favorite scene of the season was when white power showed up for the "fistfight" and Leroy and Lin and their gangs came out behind them. Haha, love it. I want to see more teaming up between gangs.

Still obsessed. It's all I've been doing this week.

Season 3 has been the best season so far for me MissU.

You need to start watching that, right now... So many awesome moments!

I started to reply to a few of the issues you had with the season (mainly the first two) and then I just erased it. It's hard to go back and explain why in retrospect those things make more sense than you might think without giving away some really good surprises later. It's better if you really know nothing at all ahead of time (no matter how trivial it may seem) with that show.

haha, already started...on episode 2. I have seriously been coming home from work, eating dinner, then planting myself in front of my computer and watching 5+ episodes a night since Monday

Ok, I'll trust you....I hope Stahl gets what's coming to her. I hate that *****.

Seasons 1 and 4 have been my favorite. 2 and 3 kind of blend together for me. Certainly worth sticking with the show.

I liked the ending to season 3 the best, but there were parts of season 3 that I was less interested in. Namely the whole Ireland story arc.

Finished watching Season 3 last night- the ending was awesome! But I agree with SS- I didn't really like the Ireland stuff

The end of S3 was very fulfilling. That's probably my favorite season finale of SOA so far. Just everything building up to what happens at the end caps it off so nicely.

All caught up I liked the ending, even though it wasn't quite what I was hoping for. But I am excited to see how the new turn of events develops.

Wasn't worth a thread but I wanted to thank you for bringing up Justified. Anybody who likes SoA will like that show too. Redneck, violent bonanza with good acting and great stories so far, I'm about 2/3 through the first season and I'm pumped that I have two more to go. Using Elmore Leonard as your source material has win written all over it.

I love this show, but that was really damn brutal and not necessary. The ending should make for a good storyline though.
