I need to catch up on this. I watched the first three seasons (through the Ireland saga) but then only got one or two episodes into season four before I moved on to something else.

Walt's dad's role reminds me of Stringer Bell from The Wire. Rose up through the streets to turn into the business man facade/still a thug at heart. So I'd rather see Stringer Bell in the role. Maybe it's me, but it was kinda hard to take Walt's dad from LOST seriously as the hardcore thug. Cant wait to see how SAMCRO kills him off though.

Good call. I thought it was interesting considering who they usually do business with.

Stringer Bell....nice pull. Raised in the streets then taking CC classes on economics to help move those caps.

I found Jimmy Smits as Gemma's lover harder to believe, but then again I've never watched Lost.
Possible side effects may include itchy retinas, congestion, lack of death, and runny genitals. Ask your personal physician about food interactions, as these may be lethal in time.

Consult a doctor if you grow a tail that doesn't fall off in the first 48 hours. Tails may be a sign of diabetes in older men, so use caution around sugar.

HAHAHAHA, best comment ever. Plus, I have no idea what Jimmy Smits and Katy Segal have to do with LOST.

I'm going to need a little while to get used to Jimmy Smits but I think he's up to creating a new, worthy character.

Made the mistake of watching the Luther BBC series and it ruined my mental image of Stringer Bell.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, but my post was in reference to TK not being able to buy "Walt's dad from Lost" as a drug kingpin. I've never seen the show, so I could be wrong about what he meant.

Just saying Jimmy Smits was less believable in his role to me, as I've never seen the actor he was referring to in another role.

Should've quoted him to begin with, my bad.

    Its cool. Just phrased funny.

Walt's dad/Michael was all nervous or angry on lost. Its just weird seeing that actor in a different role.

I don't like him in that role either, but mainly because I think he's a bad actor and I didn't like him on Lost, either.

I just finished watching last night's episode, btw. I couldn't stay up until 11:30 for the life of me. I struggled to stay up until 11, when I thought it would be over, but then it was another half an hour. I hate when that happens.

Every time I see that guy I think of him in his role on the HBO show Oz. You're right though, I don't see him in that role either.

He was great in Oz. Annoying in LOST. I'll wait to judge his work on SOA.

in LOST that is one of the characters and storylines they messed up. Michael and Walt. It could have been so much more.

Of course, Vincent the Dog IS the Island.

Back to SOA. I was surprised that I didn't recognize the Nomads who rolled under SAMCRO from anything else. I knew they were adding people (with Piney dying, Opie going nuts, etc). But still, figured they would get some actors I would know.

By the guy, I'm a big Danny Trejo fan. I know he does a lot of cheesy movies. But there was a Jay & Silent Bob Get Old podcast where Kevin Smith was out pushing Red State, do it was Jason Mewes and Danny Trejo on stage talking for like 75 min. Both are addicts and Danny's story is pretty awesome. He got into acting by working on a set teaching some other actor how to box or fight...I forget that detail. Either way, I find myself rooting for him personally.

That's where I knew him from! Yeah, he was great in Oz. He should be in a wheelchair in SOA, imo.

I couldn't place him for the life of me, thanks.
