I paid $20 at the beginning of the season for itunes standard def. For the 5 or 6 shows a year that I can't get over the air I've been happy with buying them from itunes. I don't believe they'll knock down the price, you buy the whole season for $20 or $1.99/episode. Per episode gets kind of pricey.
Holy cow want an awesome episode!
Clay is in full self destruct mode, and Gemma is married to Hamlet's step-father and is going to go down with him.
Jax standing down the cartel was beautiful, all while Clay was about to let the Niners get blown away, this just shows how far gone Clay is that he would let real relationships be killed off just so he can continue to sleep with the cartel.
But, now I'm wondering where the heck the real letters are at!
Previews showed something very interesting and if they survive I'm betting Tara tells Jax everything.
Yeah, she put them in Jax's storage unit in a box of older Teller-Morrow business receipts.
I'm really really curious if Tara makes it out of this alive and if so, does she stay. Obviously the show has been renewed and Sutter has stated he wants to make 7 seasons (3 more after this).
You can't have Sons of Anarchy without Jax obviously, and Jax apparently is going to go where Tara goes. It wouldn't make sense for him to find everything out and then just let Tara go with the kids and he stays. It also wouldn't make sense for her to just change her mind and stick around, the club isn't profitable (or interesting for a TV show) without danger from dealing in illegal goods...which she wants no part of.
I know some people dislike Tara and apart from being the keeper of the letters, she hasn't done much this season...but she is what keeps Jax grounded. It would make no sense to have her die and Jax stick around, because the kids would be raised in a world of crime that got their grandfather and mother killed and I can't imagine Jax just suddenly thinking it's no problem...after their mother died trying to get them away. That basically turns him into Gemma and makes no sense.
I can't figure out a way this all works out and the show keeps going. Killing Tara will result in Jax leaving, Tara living and moving away with Jax staying makes no sense, and Tara simply living and staying makes no sense.
See I don't see that killing Tara doesn't make sense, in fact I see it in the opposite light that killing sets Jax on a rampage destroying everything in his path ending with Clay in one epic Freudian son vs father over-throw. I can see Tara's death being the catalyst for everything to change. The hard part though is that SAMCRO needs to get out from under this RICO investigation, that's going to be tough, but I think the sheriff is going to step in to save Juice at some point as it doesn't seem he is as cold blooded as the Fed. The hard part is that they csn't just kill off the Fed like they did with agent Stahl, this will require a more creative solution.

If she dies and he finds everything out...you can't drag out the Jax vs. Clay showdown for another three years. If there was one more season after this, then that would make much more sense, but Kurt Sutter said he wants to do 7 seasons.
Say she dies and he kills Clay next season (really it should be this season)....what do you do the next two years? I guess you could try and do some prolonged storyline with Jax cleaning up the club before walking away, but I can't see him devoting years to this as a single dad after his wife died trying to get their children away from it. The reason I say single dad is that obviously if Tara dies...they have to let Jax find the letters and I can't imagine him taking too kindly to Gemma after he reads them. So at that point you have an unhinged Jax with 2 children and no family trying to run an MC that is in business with the cartel and IRA....with the feds coming down around him. That's a bit much...
Also...the killing off the wife and leaving the main character who leads a violent life with kids to raise is kind of Dexter territory, can't be stealing from Dexter!

Bump for tonight's episode.
I've though about it, and I would not be surprised if Tara is killed tonight. I can't think of anything else that would push the inevitable Jax/Clay showdown to the breaking point. There is no Sons of Anarchy without Jax, so somehow his character is going to have to gravitate back to the club. The rest of the season could just be Jax going into a complete rage until he finds out Clay had her killed, and then he kills Clay. The remaining season are his to run the club, and remake it however he sees fit.
can't wait for tonights episode
DC Sports: The Curse Is Real

DC Sports: The Curse Is Real
What a wild last half hour.
Clay has gone completely off the deep end. I have no idea how he survives through this season. I imagine that he will, but I have no clue how it will happen.
So clay killed jax's dad. tried to have his wife killed. and beat the **** out of his mom. he needs to get it in the worst way
