Zorn's hoping Kelly will be good for the playoffs...wait, the playoffs?

haha... in today's interview, questions were asked about Kelly's status and if he's going to put him on IR. Zorn responded that they're going to rest him so he can be a contributing member of the team come playoff time. ummm.. Zorn, were just coming up to the half way point and your talking playoffs. Im mostly joking around, but does anybody think this a bad thing that Zorn's already thinking playoffs?

Considering we've had the hardest part of our schedule already and the fact that he's a very confident guy.... I love it!

I noticed him saying it to, I think it is a good thing, we should make the playoffs.
We have a good chance of taking our division, looking at the the remaining games the Giants have and the cowturds are a joke, there is no reason not to think we could get some home games durring the playoffs.

Beating the Lions does nothing. After we beat the Giants at home (after the bye I think) then I will be confident about the playoffs. We need to beat NY so we can at the very least split the division with them, if not win more divisional games then them. I dont trust going in as a wildcard. We need a break the first week of the playoffs, and we need not get ahead of ourselves.

As a part of any team you should always believe you are going to win.

As long as he doesn't say, "we're going to the playoffs," I have no problems with it. He should be thinking ahead.

That being said, to get there you can't overlook any team and you have to take it one game at a time.

Most everything I have heard and read in regards to a coaches philosophy is that their goal is to make it to the playoffs, wether it be wild card or divisional champ.
They all know that anything can happen in the playoffs and it comes down to who is playing their best in December.
