"How did they get that many tickets?" , he followed up with.

I know it's been beaten to death, but I figured having a player quote adds something to it. I mean, it was a shame, guys.

If they would all ask for less in salary and tie that to ticket prices being reduced I'm sure less would change hands and more real fans versus corporations would get seats. Don't think many of the players would go for that though.

    There really are simple reasons.

Pittsburgh, as an area, sucks. People all-around Western PA (and Western NY) are all over this area because of jobs. Their teams are only here once every four years, at the very best. That's if we play them (or Buffalo) at home. I can understand their desire for tickets, but I'd chastise any 'Skins fan who sold or gave a ticket away to them.

Damn, I should have quoted Santana because his quote was much better. He was like "I've never seen that before. Especially at Fed Ex"

No excuse. Buy your damn ticket and keep it (not "you" specifically, but "you" in a general sense).

If we were up 23-6 we wouldn't have heard a peep.

    It is what it is.

Steelers fans are everywhere, they travel well and they are diehard. That and our stadium is just too damn big. Too many seats are available.

Yeah but guess what, WE WERE 6-2! ON MONDAY NIGHT! How could you not go to that?! That's crazy man.....

Silent snap count at home? That's unheard of.

    Money talks.

I don't see players being "loyal" when it comes time for them to get contracts done.
