Not to mention that there are opportunistic people/fans who want to cash in on the Redskins success.

While that may be true, that is what the market prices were. I will bet that they will go down because of the economy next year.

Vinny Cerrato believes he gave Jim Zorn a roster that can make the playoffs. A playoff kicker doesn't miss that kick. A playoff safety doesn't bite multiple times by a double move in the same game.

Quit comparing fans to players, yeah players are greedy and are in it for the money but not the fans or at least they shouldn't be!!! There is a waiting list with 200,000 people on it and I'm sure that alot of those people on the waiting list including myself would show up to a big monday night football game against the Steelers. I am so disapointed in how the team played, but the amount of Pittsburg fans just added salt to the wound. As fans we can't control how the team plays but we can at least show the nation on monday night football that Redskin fans are among the best in the country and we failed miserably at that. All you season ticket holders who sold your tickets should be completley and utterly ashamed and I hope you enjoy that extra buck you made, if you can't afford season tickets let them go to a true fan who can afford them.

There is a family of Steelers fans I know WHO ARE SEASON TICKET HOLDERS OF THE REDSKINS! They have season tickets in Fedex field, 200 level. How does that happen? That makes me sick. The amount of actual skins fans on the waiting list, and they have them. THEY'RE the ones selling tickets to fans of opposing teams. Bought them way back because they were a "sound business investment". Makes me sick...I hate steeler fans...

Maybe he does think it's a big deal? And maybe "true" fans shouldn't allow opposing fans to basically take over OUR STADIUM?

Apparently Steelers fans don't mind paying those prices to see their team.

By the way, the prices for concessions and tickets at FedEx are pretty similar to most stadiums in the NFL. Unless you have a franchise like the Cardinals, Lions, Bengals, etc.... consistently losing teams who have to drop prices just to get ANYONE to come to games. Something to shoot for, eh?

Well, we have a stadium with no character, outside of DC. On average it takes Redskins fans at LEAST an hour to commute to or from the stadium. The parking situation is horrendous and expensive. And, ticket prices are horrendous as well. Why do you think visiting teams always have a strong showing at FedEx Field.

Not everyone who sells their ticket is a vendor, corp seat or broker. Some of us make sacrifices to afford overpriced season tickets in the first place and if we need to sell one or two of the more 'in demand' games in order to help pay for the other 8 so that we can be there for our team all year, then so be it. As the Redskins go, so goes my spirit. I live and die by every snap just like every other diehard out there. Dropping a couple of the higher demand games means that I can be there ruin my voice every other damn week we have a home game. If anyone else thinks that makes me less of a fan they can kiss my burgundy & gold ass.

There are Steelers fans all over VA..especially in Hampton Roads. Mike Tomlin is from this area(Hampton Rds)...I don't know why folks are shocked at the number of Steeler fans that were in attendance...I know at least 5 Steeler fans that I work with w/o even putting any effort to think about it. Let's move on from this...how about let's get po'd about how the Skins played? The fans(skins or otherwise)didn't cause this loss.
