Default Call of Duty 5: World At War

This comes out on November 11th. Haven't heard too much hype besides seeing a few commercials here and there. Anybody REAL excited about this game? Or are you still too high on COD4/another game?

Just got COD 4 about 3 weeks ago and now COD 5 and GOW 2 are coming out. My hope is that COD fans stick with 4 so I don't have to drop a few dimes on this new one right away. Remember to write your gamertags if you play COD 4 or plan to play COD 5.

COD4 rocks the house period. COD5 would have to be leaps and bounds bove 4 for people to stop playing. I blast up bastards damn near every night.

edit: Plus COD5 is a ww2 setting, not sure people will gravitate to the weapons during that time period if there's no laser sights etc.

I loved COD 4 thought it was to short though. I can't wait for 5 to come out.

COD4 is amazing. I've never been hooked on a game like I have been with this one.

    Spaceman Spiff 21 on Ps3.

COD5 will have to be just as good, if not better to get me to stop playing COD4. I barely touch Madden, have played about 15 minutes of Metal Gear haven't touched MLB the Show in months.

I did play and beat the new GTA. That's about it. COD4 has a hold on me and it won't let go anytime soon.

I agree. After playing this game, I spot people 100 yards away with 90% of their body blocked by a wall. I even pretend to shoot them sometimes. My girlfriend is like, "what are you shooting at?" I tell her, "Tango Down."

I play CoD4 all the time. Fun as hell.

World at War Beta is alright but one of the level's has a glitch in it so you can get under the map and kill people without them being able to kill you. It's ****ing lame.

    COD campaigns are always short.

This is a rental for me, I'll stick to COD4 for online as I'm sure most will.

But I'll be online in Gears for the rest of the year.

Activision has always marketed it. But IW did the coding.

This time its Treyarch doing the coding. They also did the unremarkable COD3.

My friend has an X-Box and they got the COD5 beta. They used the cod 4 engine. Its basically Cod4 but in ww2 environment. They replaced the 5 kill strick with artillery and the 7 kill streak lets you unleash a pack of dogs to hunt down the enemy. Pretty sick. My psn is jroc9680

I'm picking up Gears 2 today and will wait on COD5 reviews. I loved COD4. One cool thing is that the voice for the American soldiers is Jack Bauer himself, Kiefer Sutherland.

I've watched some of the COD 5 beta game play that's is posted on you tube . It looks pretty good to me , i'll be getting it when it comes out.

    BUT !!

As for COD4, that is all i play, i'm freaking hooked I don't think that online play for this is going to get tiresome anytime to soon. The game is awsome. When i picked up the game it was actually for my son . I play every night with several members from this site.

I know that I played the CoD series competitively on the PC, and most of you are console players or single player players which is totally different, but I'm never buying another CoD game again after 4...it was so mediocre competitively and they just churn out a new one ever year. CoD6 is already in the works, I refuse to pay 50-60 dollars for a game that is tailored for consoles. The original CoD was tailored for the PC and surprise, it was the best one of them all for PC competition.

Should be a fun game on 360 though.
