    Default Poll: Your Political Affiliation

What party best represents your ideology?... sorry there are more than two choices-- not that the government wants you to know about it.

Independent, conservative. I agree with some of the Libertarian Ideology. To me the Republican party is dead. I dont think I will vote for them again because they have become Democrat-lite. Why the hell are we giving 15BILLION DOLLARS(Dr. Evil Voice) to Africa? I dont have a problem with helping those folks BUT, the corruption of governments in Africa are not going to give any of that money to their people. Republicans trying to get the black vote, which wont work. I can hear Maxine Waters and Sheila Jackson Lee saying we need to spend more and we a the cause of this crisis in Africa. Those 2 are proof that affirmative action doesnt work. It makes me laugh when I hear that Senator from the Peoples Republic of California call this administration, "The most conservative in modern times" The only thing that separates the 2 parties are taxes and the military. Dubya needs to stop listening to his handlers and go with what he really believes and get those other so called conservatives in the senate in line with him.

I checked Dem. I definitely have some socialist leanings. Socialist certainly doesn't insult me like many on here seem to intend.

    Left-leaning Independant.

BTW, whoever voted for "I don't vote" is a liar.

Basically, the government that governs least governs best.

Biggest issue: Taking an axe to the federal budget. Eliminating all subsidies to business and agriculture, foreign aid, etc.

    Others:

Non-Interventionism/Isolationism - The US should follow the parting advice of George Washington's farewell speech, and avoid foreign entanglements.

The government should stay out of all social issues (i.e. abortion, school prayer, affirmative action, etc.) as well as Legalize consensual acts of adults ie Prostitution, Drug Use

End taxes on income and investment

    Reduce government regulation

    Privatise government functions where practical
