    Default Disney to buy EA?

    http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/18377/...ectronic-Arts/

The Wall Street Journal is speculating on the possibility that the Walt Disney Co. might acquire Electronic Arts. The financial publication reported:

Disney Chief Financial Officer Tom Staggs appeared to leave the door open Tuesday. When asked about Disney's focus on developing games in house versus buying another company, he told an investor, "I don't want you to conclude that those are in the long term mutually exclusive." Moments later he noted a "strategic and attractive" opportunity would be "a possibility." EA, an obvious target, is now available for a net cost of just $4 billion.

In the sense of full disclosure, readers may want to note that TeamXbox and The Wall Street Journal are both owned by News Corp.

It'll be even more cartoony and unrealistic.

On the bright side, I'm sure Wall-E will be a playable character. He really does have a gun for an arm!

maybe they will return to a time like 2000-2002 when they made games that weren't overhyped piles of buggy, incomplete, or just downright boring/terrible crap.
