I'm down for DC sports all the way, aside from the Terps and other state Collegiate teams.

I don't care much for the Ravens in regards to pure sport, but Ravens fans at my current and past jobs totally ruin any appreciation I could have for them representing Maryland. I've never openly initiated any hate towards the Ravens, but almost every Ravens fan I've encountered enjoys berating Redskins fans, for simply being fans.

I have always hated the Ravens. It was simple: Baltimore has a giant chip on theri shoulder about DC. Washington adopts the Orioles, Baltimore still despised the Redskins. I didn't make up the rules but since this was the game I decided to play along.

But the past few weeks I've turned soft. Both myself and my wife have been openly rooting for the Ravens for the first time ever. We live in Mt. Airy and it's about 50/50 Ravens/Skins up here.

But yeah, the Ray Lewis act has gotten old so I may revert to my old ways.

Can't and won't speak for anyone else but I'm not a fan of the Ratbirds. Never have been and never will be. Hope San Fran gets em next week.

I have never cared about Baltimore. There was no reason for me too. If anything I kinda liked them as they're in the AFC and they're kinda close.

Same as me. Had a good friend who liked the Ravens and there was no animosity. This was back in 2001 I believe. His dad got some tickets and we went to a game in Bmore. When the Skins would come up on their big screen when they'd be giving updates on the games going on around the league, the entire stadium erupted in boo's when we'd be ahead and would cheer when we were losing. The entire stadium. They didn't even do the same when updates were given on their divisional rivals. That's how lame they were.

That was it for me.

Many Ravens fans do not forgive JKC for voting against an expansion team in Baltimore when it was awarded to Jacksonville.

Which again points out the MORONS in the Baltimorons. As if they would still be enjoying a team like the Jaguars.

That speech is why I'm rooting for the Ravens.

I wanted the Ravens to win that game with a vengeance after that speech. Even though I don't like Lewis "preacher" like style, he gained a helluva lot of respect in my eyes after that speech.
